Title: Dis' Wildfire situation.
Post by: tp4tissue on Wed, 16 September 2020, 17:40:52
The smoke haze has reached coast to coast now. Timber costs doubled.

It is a scientific fact that we are IN an extinction event.

Thoughts ?

Stay inside and play video games until it’s time to die.  Dying is pretty easy if you think about it.

@ fohat,  I understand your point of view in terms of the binary option we have.

But realize,  Democrats control and profit from the SAME industries that are destroying the planet/ poisoning people/ causing obesity / cancer/ heartdisease / climate-disaster.

I agree key people who -happen- to beee democrats would do a better job. But it has nothing to do with their democrat-ness.

Been suffering hard since last week. The smoke was so thick this weekend it was leaking through my bedroom windows choking and burning my eyes in my own home. Air purifiers are completely sold out in my state, and Amazon has them on 2 week back order. Sat I woke up and blew black soot from my nose, then coughed for like 20 mins. I've taken to wearing a gasmask for an hour twice a day INSIDE MY HOUSE just to give my lungs a break. Pair this with an 87F room with no airflow because the windows must remain shut and it's akin to living in Hell.

I can't live like this much longer. As if life were not already horrible in every respect, my bottom just keeps getting lower and lower this year.

calm down...

A. despite what the "fake news"  tells you.. a lot of these fires have been deliberately set.. there is video of some ass hat antifa supporting guy starting one of them...

B.  also it is fire season... it is a kinda gnarly one.. but you know ... before we all lay down and wait to die maybe see how it goes next year at least???

C. it is just the way 2020 rolls.... pretty sh*thouse year.

The smoke haze has reached coast to coast now.
It's reached Europe.
It reached the east coast much earlier this week.

It's FAR from just the west coast burning, there is massive fires all over. California runs on a 10 year cycle, this is why the L.A. River runs empty 9 years out of 10, and burns bad at the same frequency. It's nothing new, it's just slightly worse due to warming. Why do you think California has water bombers unlike most other states, it's one big fire hazard.

Oh, and it's mostly FEDERAL land that is burning, always is.

There is always firebugs, Antifa or not, also a lot of false flag ops going on, they did the same thing in the 60's to hippies and Black Panthers (seriously read some history books).
