after 345 sr's lol. I still can't get one.
The conversation asking for your nickname is really annoying lol. 

There are people who do thousands of sr's and never get one.  With a 1/8192 chance, you should be prepared to do around 8192 resets :-).

Glad to see that some of the competitive youtubers are starting on X/Y now, but it probably won't be as widespread this time around unless/until they can hack the rom for whatever pokemon/stats they wanted, like they did with the previous gens.  They'll actually have to breed them for IVs themselves, level them up, and EV train.

Glad to see that some of the competitive youtubers are starting on X/Y now, but it probably won't be as widespread this time around unless/until they can hack the rom for whatever pokemon/stats they wanted, like they did with the previous gens.  They'll actually have to breed them for IVs themselves, level them up, and EV train.

LOL. done with the game already mate. Don't plan on a shiny starter since a breed one would be better of.

They can be irritating as hell, though.
Getting four or five Sand Attacks in a row without being able to respond is true suffering.

Everyone I'm so stoked. I got a 2DS and Pokemon Y. I can't wait to let Team Flare know who's the numba one stunna. Those dudes don't even know about my swagger yet.

Best part about Y? I know nothing about new Pokemon so I built a team of Pokemon I thought were funny. I think one's called Tyrunt? I picked him 'cause he was a rock T-Rex. Then I have a Angry Panda too. Oh and the starter that looks like hes a rock with a pot leaf on his head. And Charmeleon.

I spent part of my Thanksgiving vacation screaming, "HOLY **** I NEED THAT PANDA THAT SLAPPED ME. SLAPPY PANDA!" My thought process for picking a starter was, "Nope, not the frog. Nope, not red kitty. Leafy rock dude it is!"

How is the 2DS?  It doesn't look like something I would want to take out of my apartment.  Do you feel that it's an acceptable alternative to a 3DS?

The 3D-ness of the 3DS is horrible to my eyes. It hurts my head after 5 minutes. I played with it for 20 minutes at the Nintendo Store in NYC and hated it.

On the 2DS, I like the lack of moving parts but the screens are a weird size. I don't understand why they're not the same size. It does fit in my hands nice though.

And you're playing Pokemon in public, are you sure you need to look good when you're crushing trainers on your cruise to the top?
