Hello fellow keyboarders!
My name is Zaidh and I am relatively new to the custom mech scene. After using the KBD67 Lite and falling in love with it over the last few months I have come to find myself wanting a more premium board. I wanted something more upmarket and premium, but at the same time didn't want to accumulate more keyboards than I need. So naturally, I thought what if I could design my own case, and because this hobby is community heavy it would be much easier than many other hobbies to create my own design. So I have!
I know the KBD67V3 exists but I want something more custom/personal.

Features:
- True gasket mount implementation
- CNC Aluminium 6061
- Mirror finish, polished stainless steel weight.
- Extras - FR4 plate, stainless steel plate, stainless steel polished interior weights.
I have kept the design a little more simple with a hint of luxury, in my opinion. While designing I thought why not make it a little more bouncy as I can hardly perceive the flex of the board as it is and so I have added support for poron gaskets.
I thought it great to also include the option of plates since I find the sound profile of the PC plate not to my liking and I love the idea of having the option of many sound profiles on the same board. So, there extras of an FR4 plate and a stainless steel plates
The design is not final and I think it needs some revision but I want to get some ideas from you guys going forward.

No I don't have a prototype yet as the design is not final. I am hoping to get some feedback on the design. I think I am running the risk of this being too similar to the KBD67V3 so I just wanted opinions and gauge interest.

Having a proto would make the most sense since you aim at changing (for the most part) how the gasket mount system works compared to the original kbd67lite. This requires physical testing to see if what you are aiming for is achievable. From where im sitting this is just wishful thinking but i am open to being proved wrong with results ;D

I think it would be wiser to make it your way, make a prototype then decide where to go from there after acquiring other's opinion.
