While we don't enforce a non-refundable policy (people still can trigger a dispute anyhow). We strongly encourage participants to not request for a refund as we use the deposits for the initial payment to GMK, while we pay the remaining, just so we could get the production to start as soon as possible.

Exactly what you said at the end... GMK sets can pretty much always be resold at above the groupbuy price, unless they're a disaster like TA. Even then, new TA sets tend to go for pretty high. If he has the overhead to front the money, I don't see why this isn't basically a win-win for him.

That's basically it, it's mainly to help pay off the payments to start production early. Whoever wants out can choose to sell that spot to other ppl.

First, I only just stumbled on this GB, so I didn't have an opportunity to provide my input. Second, I recognize that this particular ship has already left the dock, so I'm not requesting any changes. Third, I'm on the fence about jumping in on this GB and I am thinking out loud about my concerns, specific to my application. I am not suggesting that I should be accommodated in any way nor that you, nor anyone else should do anything different. Fourth, I am considering OG, but I find that I like the subtle touch of color ... hence my conundrum.

While the smaller G81 caps would work just fine on a G80, the G81 stabilized caps aren't an option for G80's, due to a completely different stabilizer design. Well, to clarify, the caps would physically fit the switches, but there would be no way to rig either the G80, nor the G80 stabs. At least that is the case with the G81 that I have. Perhaps there have been other variations to the G81 models over the years?

This just shows that the colour theme choice for this set is on point!

From the many GB that I see over the years, I have come to a conclusion that, it's almost impossible to please everyone.
The discussion about going for icon mods or text mods will be endless, like it or not, there will always be people who loves icon mod, or text mod, or both.
Same goes to winkey logos. It's almost like a debate/war between religions, or political parties.

There hasn't been any icon mod Classic beige set going around, other than the WoB icon mod GB that is going on now.
That's why we choose to run this instead of text mod, but I believe there's more text mod available than icon mod.
However, I understand the struggle of seeing a nice looking set but not everything suits your taste. There just have to be one flaw.
and how do I know? because I personally like icon mod and text mod together )
so I have gone through enough frustration to see most of the GMK gb uses text mod in the end.

I apologize to those who is interested in the set but have to accept the "flaw".
If possible, I would want to add in text mod as well, but that would balloon the cost per set dramatically and no one would be able to throw in that amount of money

While I have a good mind to post proof of purchase from GMK after seeing the drama of Miami nights, I'm not entirely sure what you meant by scheduled updates, but I here's what I can promise; I will update/screenshot whenever I have new substantial information to let you guys know such as if there's changes in the payment deadline, provide proof of purchase to GMK, when receive shipping updates from GMK, receiving it, asking for outstanding payments, sorting/packing, and shipping them out. More or less the same way as I handled my other Cherry Logo GB, just that this has an extra proof of purchase to update.

Thanks for being proactive. I think that concluding the transaction within the paypal protection limit, plus some feedback from gmk would make everyone superhappy. Not that I need it, but for other gb, as an additional warranty, we could ask gmk to post updates with an official account.
