Are you outside of the US? Shipping always sucks for people outside of the US, which includes myself :(.

Also how long will this $70 for 110 switches last for. I'm waiting for a detailed review of the switches :D.
I'm nervously waiting with my mouse over the purchase button waiting for the same thing.

Hey guys,

After having a dream about RAMA becoming a giant evil corporation I decided to redo the videos for extra quality.

However I do have 2 little presents for you. Its really hard to capture the white that the pandas are on the camera that I was using so they are a tad too beige looking, I tried to clean it up a little in photoshop with a minimal success. As I write this, however, my 70D is charging for the video and extra photos which will look much better.

I hope you enjoy.

Yeah I stuck with the thicc pins, they are much nicer. They also dont bend all over the shop so assembly is a bit quicker.

In the case that I order a set now will it ship out with the original group buy orders? I know you said you already sent it to your proxy but wasn't sure if the proxy was gonna keep a stock or not.

Is PCB mount give a firmer feel compared to plate mount? Assuming both them placed on board with PCB and plate.

Gotcha. I will stick for the plate mount then. Inserting PCB mount to planck plate is hard labor work.

I came to ask the same thing as the gold SPRiT springs are on MD.

Do you recommend getting some lube in if we plan to swap and if so do you have any recommendations?

What is the predicted reliability like on these?  If I recall correctly the Matias switches had chattering issues because the factory put too much lube into the switches.

This seems like a fairly big deal. It'd be nice to see a typing demo on a board with these switches to allay concerns.

I disagree. Wobble is important to me, because it strongly affects stability of SA profile keycaps. If I have the choice between more or less stablility when building a $600 board, I'd prefer more stability.

I think he means the videos don't do a good job of demonstrating the switch's attributes. Not that the smoothness/wobble isn't important.

I'll be using a plate, but I have a question. As long as we are using a plate, we don't actually need PCB mount switches, correct? Do those two little prongs that go into the PCB provide any extra stability that I might miss if I get the plate mounted switches?

I've had problems with plates supporting switch top removal in conjunction with plate mount switches being slightly crooked.

Really just depends on the plate and its tolerances, if its a decent quality with low tolerance you shouldn't have a problem. I mean you could always grab PCB just for a bit of extra stability if your not so sure.
