I just do quick research based on currently running GMK groub buy and it's hard to find 1.25 enter, 1.5 left shift and 2x 2.25u space

DSS Sencillo (BoW) will have that and be reasonably priced. There should be a GH and Reddit post in the next couple weeks. For now, join the channel in the 40s Discord for more info.

I haven't seen any, but on the other hand Prkns second child was due a couple of weeks ago, so I suspect he's very busy,

It's a meme at this point that it's "In 15 days."
Prkns has had family life and what not as well as main job hold ups I assume. The truth is, we don't know exactly when, but hopefully soon. The Discord will be the best place to find out when it actually happens, though.

At this point I think it's reasonable to expect the GB to happen in at least 2-3 months. I'm still patiently waiting though.

I feel that this is going to be the gateway drug for 40%s for many people. So many renders now include the Whimsy since the design complements so many designs. I'm really interested in seeing just how many units this GB will push. GL

Yes I agree with HappyBOT.

This is what makes me want to go 40% for the first time as well.

Not sure if gonna go with SA or Cherry caps, and also trying to figure out how to modify all buttons I need for programming. So excited for this. Gonna put in lubed Zealios v2 with Kry 205g0.

Also thinking about a good 40 wrist rest

Youll need the base and 40's kit for proper compatibility with this board.

Welp, since this is indefinitely "2 weeks away", I decided to get the MB-44 instead.

Kind of sad because Whimsy really caught my eye and I would have entered the GB day 1, but seeing how prkns has a new baby, honestly, baby > keebs.

I get that I’ve heard Prkns has had a new baby and a lot going on, but hopefully we get some kind of update or at least a change to the websites GB date. Very excited about this board though, I’m hoping we can get a rotary encoder made for the Whimsy as well! It’s hard to find cool rotary knobs besides the Rama one.

Same here, I don't even know what it is exactly but this is the first time I've looked at a 40% and thought "yes, I need that."

As of 06/13 or 13/06 (for the normals) the gb still hasn't happened yet. The website is broken. Prkns had a baby and he wasn't happy with the original prototypes. We're still all patiently waiting. The gb will happen.

On the Fourteen website (the creator's store) it says the group buy run until April 30, 2021. Although that might also be an old an un-updated date, since a page for a GB that actually happened - DSA 1930 - looks different... I am just really not sure what it up with this project

I believe that the creator had a baby recently? Not 100% sure, but yh it is sad to see it taking this long.

Came across this on accident, but this is what Bob Ross would call a "happy accident". Glad I found this before it disappeared or something. A lot of 40% keyboards have been catching my eyes lately and this seems absolutely perfect. I understand that things in life happen so I can wait for this to come to fruition.

Thank you for this info. I was very confussed by the dates on the website. Hopefully this board will have a smooth production once it's finished.
