Since rediscovering the Model M, I've become fascinated by the idea of products of considerably higher-than-average durability and quality. I'm talking about goods that might cost a bit more, but in turn provide a much longer usable life... potentially a lifetime of use.
I imagine high-end tools would be a good example, and I have a feeling I will get at least 250k miles out of my Honda Civic. My Sennheiser headphones also seem like they will be around for a while.
