No kidding, I check this thread twice a day just to make sure I don't miss an update.

I may be wrong, but I thought Karura mentioned extras won't be available until closer to the shipping date.

I really wish I joined this GB, not to secure my order (I will be lurking like a hawk, when the time comes), but because Karura is probably the most responsive and communicative GB leader I've ever seen.

I know I have a mail from Zealpc concerning the order as payment went through his storefront, so as long as you didn't order it in some other secret way, you probably have one too.

Regarding the extras again, there were no plans to pick up any extra spacebars, but we have plenty (I say plenty, but really who knows how long they'll be available for) of Base Sets, Colour Packs, and Relegendable Sets.

Hey everyone, just wanted to make sure everyone is on board and updated with the latest information.

GMK's production schedule is on point, but unfortunately the manufacturing of the Relegendables will still be another 5-6 weeks before we get to see them.

What this means for us is that while the Base/Colour/Spacebars will all be ready by our original scheduled ETA, the entire project will be pushed back so they can be shipped out together with the Relegendables.

Just a little update; otherwise everything has been good. Despite the small setback, we'll still get to see our project come to life soon enough. I thank everyone again for your participation and patience with the GB process.

I would think it would be a very fulfilling achievement as a designer. Often times one has to make compromises and sacrifice aesthetics for cost & functionality, or vice versa, and sacrifice functionality for aesthetics that have no practical value but to increase sales, like so much "gaming" gear, so to get that perfect balance is very rewarding in itself.

Well, I guess it's like any craft. You do a good job and focus on the essence of it, and then the recognition comes from that adherence to the discipline itself. The proof is in the pudding.

The original Skidata boards are from the mid 90s and not from the early 70s. The Skidata keyboard is actually quite "young" by Cherry keyboard standards. Look at 7bits Honeywell reproductions - those are truely old designs.
