Phone Keyboard Adapter
« on: Mon, 13 April 2015, 21:11:34 »
Searching for the original thread would be like searching for a needle in a haystack, so I created this thread. I can put it in a text file and you can delete the thread once someone's responded or something, but what's the name of the adapter that you plug into the micro-USB port on your phone and it makes any physical keyboard work with Android?

It's called an OTG (on-the-go) cable. :)

I have a related question to this. What are the ends that you need called. To connect a poker 2 to android phone it is micro b male to mini b male correct or is it something else?

I guess that would work fine.  You could also get a USB micro male to USB female, and plug in your existing cable into it.

So where can I get an OTG cable? I have an Android phone and a QFR, if that effects the answer.

Pexon makes some beautiful ones.
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.
