Any updates on MOQs or samples?

We're officially at 100 sets sold and 33 spacebars. Both sets are in queue and most likely ready to ship by December. We just need to work on the samples. I'll be getting some samples and I'll send some to switchnollie to confirm.

The samples are still in the process. GMK had to update my information in their database which delayed things a bit.

At least on these small buys :) I know i've bought three different sets in the last few months from originative. Have one on order from massdrop but odds are low i'll keep that one.

In my opinion, the grey color doesn't look very accurate. Switchnollie will have to decide.

I can't speak on the accuracy of the grey.  However that blue looks great.

Hey all, after discussing the gray with Sherry I've decided to request new samples.

This will delay the buy by about another month but I think it will be worth it to have the gray closer to the one that you're all used to seeing from the GB Pantone image.

What's with the legends?  (note that I have no idea how the sample process works)

I was curious to see how the gray and greenish looked together since they're relatively low contrast.

I'll try to ask for those as the next samples. One of the funny thing is that the grey here is actually more White than Grey. It highly resembles the 2M color code from GMK, but it's not exactly the same. I think the contrast would look really good when the whole set is made. The Tiffany Blue isn't completely strong, but it's more than enough.

Agreed on both fronts, the grey looks pretty white from pictures.

Want to add that I think the sample (with the black 'Q' on it) is the perfect color for Tiffany's Blue

What is the ETA on the next update?  This is my first GMK set and I have been disappointed by the SP keycap quality. I want to know whether it's my expectations are unreasonable or if there is a quality difference between the two manufacturers.

I can personally assure you that gmk is way superior than SP

They had issues with QC before especially fot their double shooting results. But I think they have fixed it, my recent gmk does not have that issue anymore

With GMK Carbon shipping you should be able to base the quality off of those once the pics start flooding in.

I'd guess the new samples will be ready at the end of the month, the first samples were later than estimated though so I can't say for sure.

Figured! They look great, hopefully both the sale version as well as the giveaway match the set.

Speaking of which, no further updates I suppose? As in the new colour samples are still scheduled to arrive some time toward the end of this month?

We might be using GTL like suggested in the original SA set.
Cool Gray 1 XGC was not the same as the Pantone image IRL.
Did not look as nice.
