If I could get a star in pink, that'd be awesome.

You've got it!

Thank you! It looks awesome, super happy I can be an elitist now. :p

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Idk how to be promoted to an "elder" , but is there a female slang for that

A female elder is still an elder...  Unless by "slang" you want something like "old hag", in which case I can arrange a custom title for you  :))

I think he's got a few more than 5000 posts, which is the number required for a black star.

Or may be a row of 4 black stars?  Although I don't think it works that way, unless you can be in the same group 4 times, but database integrity checks probably prevent that.

New kids might not want stars, but I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been thinking of mine for the last 4.5 years.

Only seems fitting that my 1000th post is in this thread  ;D

New kids might not want stars, but I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been thinking of mine for the last 4.5 years.

Only seems fitting that my 1000th post is in this thread  ;D

Congratulations :)

Do posts in this thread count towards your total?

Edit: Yes, it seems as if they do.

They do!

To wit, I'd like to propose a new star for those who get exclusively 1000 posts in the Announcement/Feedback/Suggestions board
