Hi! This is a board I gotten from a friend a long time ago it was made in Korea but I don't know the name of the board but its a heavy aluminium which uses old USB. Please help in identifying it!

It looks like something called the lin finger

I have never seen that lin keyboard at all, it seems to be one that was just never mentioned outside of south korea. So I can't really tell you much about it currently, there should be more info about this around though, but not on western forums and social media.

Hey man! Thanks for the reply, judging by that picture you might be right! Do you know how to go about getting more info on it?

Hey man! Thanks for the reply, judging by that picture you might be right! Do you know how to go about getting more info on it?

I'm not sure, kbdlab might be a good way to find more info but you need to make an account to see the GB sections, which would have the GB of the board but creating an accountrequires a south korean carrier to verify you, if it's even possible to make an account still, if you know someone who has one they might be able to access it for you. I'll link it anyway - https://kbdlab.co.kr/index.php?mid=board_gb_poll&category=238626&page=2 (might also be a good idea if you can to check Lin's account)

However I did look into it and did find some info about it (This is going to be really long, because there is a bit to talk about lol)

Most likely the GB happened late 2015 (I have heard early 2016, but someone who did have one at one point/still has it said 2015 so I'll take there word for it)

It's a two piece case with an intergrated plate and a weight, apparently it's the first kustom keyboard to be a 65%, which I cannot 100% verify is true, but I seriously doubt it if it the GB was late 2015, since someone who I believe is international got the LZ-SQ in july of that year and also LZ was was doing a deduction servey of the Leeku pcb in january 2015 so most likely it was the SQ that was the first one.

The board I believe is named after the leeku finger pcb the board uses, so people abbreviate it to be called the linger. (there was another 65% that lin made called the dolinger or dolphin linger because of the pcb as well)

Not 100% on this but there were 2 either rounds or versions of the board, I haven't looked everywhere but I have heard both, I am more leaning to it being 2 rounds.

I believe that R1 had 20 units up for sale. I am not sure about R2 or even if there was one.

all I've seen were two-tone, here are the ones I've seen.

Silver/grey
Pink/red
Silver/green? (your one, not sure if it's green but does look it)
grey/navy
gold(maybe it's rose gold)/pink.
Grey/Silver
Gold/Black
red/? - you can't see the bottom of the photo

I have also seen "black" but I think it might just be the grey colour that looks black.

I have also seen a colour called "military" but I don't know what this colour could be cause the only mention of it leads to a dead link, it could be related to the that the 356pad that was also linked, which looks like a dark grey colour, or maybe the military grey 356mini? more likely the pad but I can't know sadly.

Apparently you could choose the combination of colours, but not 100% about this, since the person who said this didn't have perfect english, so it might have been not what they were meaning and there seems to be some board with the same combinations (for example I've seen 2 silver/green ones or at least I think, it's hard to see if the second one is green, and what seems to be 2 different grey blue ones) but that could be because 2 people picked the same combo I couldn't tell you there, I am more leaning to that being true though, and it would explain the black and military stuff.

I have seen and several options of weights, brass, what I think is stainless steel and two custom colours, red and blue which I believe are reanoded Stainless Steel/brass weights (I think this might have been an option for the GB, at first I thought it was 100% a custom job until I saw another red one)

I have seen at least one of the Lingers with a matching numpad, but that could've been from another buy and completely unrelated (it was the Pink and red one)

That's all the info I found right now (sorry for the info dump), I'll look for more info cause I am quite interested about this since I've never heard about it before and this is kinda speculative and incomplete, like I couldn't find a picture of the unbuilt or built case opened for example. Below will be all the photos I found and the other info (Also I'm pretty sure it's the right keyboard, since the all the design quirks match up, especially the 4 dots on the back which was the biggest indicator. I am also surprised I found it, since I looked up korean custom keyboard and scrolled until I found it randomly on the one reddit post that was posted of the keyboard lol)

Nah it's all good, always happy to help. Plus I always like knowing about kustom keyboards, especially ones that aren't as well known in the west which is why I would've done a lot of this research anyway.

Could you check your PMs if you see this first, asking you about other things.
