Who hasn't gotten their sets yet? I'm looking to put in the replacement keys request to SP soon, so there will be a deadline for reporting missing keys... and it seems almost everyone has gotten it so that could be soon.

Yeah it is weird, I can only think that one of them got pulled by customs? Even if they went on different planes or boats the difference should only be a couple of days not a whole week.

I have to wait for the white mods then I can send all these sets out. After that I can talk to you about replacements if necessary...

If it was detained by Customs, yes they will examine the contents of your package by opening up the Box/Envelope and then they are required by Law to re-seal it with their Special Customs Tape.  Letting you know it was examined by them.  I have gotten several Boxes/Envelopes with the infamous Customs Tape on them (here in Australia).

So I am definitely on their HIT list.  But so far they must be terribly disappointed, because they have found nothing illegal in any of my Orders.

^Put some silicone grease on the male portion of the white tabs.  That will let them stay in the keycap while you are threading the stabilizer bar through them.

Yes, in the plumbing aisle.  Shouldn't be more than a few bucks....plus you can use it to lubricate the stabilizer bars too.

I actually own this keyboard now.  Very happy with the board and the red alerts, but... Akimbo, why on earth would you lubricate those pegs?  They aren't supposed to slide!!!  They are supposed to hold on to the key in order to pull the edge down evenly.  Now I have silicon grease up in there that is impossible to clean out, and some of the keys act as if there is no stabilizer in there at all.

@ Metalliqaz, its not impossible to clean out, just pull the keycap and use some degreaser on it. If you want to be extra careful you can always cover the visible sides with packing tape or something so you don't get any degreaser on it, but most degreasers are harmless to plastic.

I'm going to clean the keys and pegs with mild dish soap, then use 409 on a q-tip to try and clear out the stems holes.  Then I'll probably try the paper method.

I used Goo Gone on the pegs and used 409-soaked cotton and a paper clip to clean inside the keys.  Then I used tiny pieces of a receipt to work DanGWanG's method.  It worked perfectly.  Keys feel much better.  Red Alerts look great!

Umm, that one is hard to say. I'd say $40 is a good deal, considering all of mine sold out at $35 really fast and there are far fewer of them in the market than red mods.
