A nice week :)

92372-0

92374-1

The above Bro to be paired with the Hack'd by Geeks set when it arrives - thanks Moralless! :)

92376-2

The detail on those last two is fantastic!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I got some nice little things in the mail today :)

I got two Granite Windows 7 keys from ceflame. (I've been hoarding Granite keys, but I think with these, my V60 is done!)

I also got a nice granite option key, two big ISO SA return keys and a very nice letter in some insanely cool handwriting from BlueNalgene!

Just some little things, but I'm getting closer and closer to the V60 being done :)

Thanks guys :)
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Nah, the Superlux headphones have a connector right at the headphone, and then a short and a long cable you can attach to it depending on which you need, or you could combine them all if you're compensating.  They sounded pretty damn good for $40 headphones, my head is just too big for them to be comfortable on me.

Got this stupid mother ****er;

And a family shot

-I really need Venom Snake...

Over all pretty happy with him, though the pose dosn't work and just looks dumb, gotta try and work with it to try and find something a bit better. Also I wish that his clothing had more of a red or copper tint to it as it just looks kinda dull being all grey.

Edit: already changed his pose to something alot better... I just wanted to use the photo's I posted to show how hard it is to get him in the pose he's shown in all the press!

Very nice. I am jealous, as you can see my photos above are pretty weak taken from my phone.  ;D

This has been a long time savings.  The lenses were collectively as much as the body and I found a great deal.  looking forward to snapping some pictures.  This body is so much lighter than what I have been using (Canon 20D)

Nice. The next lens I will be getting is that 40mm macro.

Looking forward to exercising it thoroughly.

It's my favorite lens I own...Still a little sad that my d3000 is out of commission, but I'm thinking my next big purchase will be an upgrade to that.

Yeah, I've read nothing but good things about it.  I was going to get one when I ordered my d3300, but went with the 50mm f/1.8G (which I love).
