WASD laser-etched keycaps vs Rosewill's laser printed
« on: Mon, 16 January 2012, 14:53:12 »
I got my Rosewill with reds and I love it, however, I miss the keycaps I had from my old Filco browns. The letters on the Rosewill have a bump/indentation upwards so I can feel the white letters on the keycaps, whereas the Filco's were smooth and couldn't feel the letters. I'm looking to switch out all my keycaps and I notice WASD keycaps are noted as laser-etched and the Rosewill's are laser printed. Are these two the exact same thing or is the laser-etched more like the Filco's smooth keycaps where you don't feel the letters on the keycaps.

I also miss the smaller font on the keycaps. The Rosewill's font is too huge for my liking.

About to place my order so any response would be great! Thanks

I can't speak to the difference between laser printed and laser etched, but I can feel the etching on my WASD keys. That's all I know.
