A little 'off-topic', but the nerd inside me felt obligated to share.

You know your demographic is tech-savvy if your site's Top 3 Browsers breakdown as...

53% Chrome
30% Firefox
8% Internet Explorer

Not ripping on IE users, but these stats have restored my faith in Internet Humanity! If you had told me 5 years ago there would be sites with less than 10% of users on IE, I would have called you crazy.

Microsoft appears to be aware of this trend and they're aggressively marketing / developing IE9, so hopefully the 'stock' browser that comes with windows won't be a nightmare for developers anymore.

IE10 looks promising... but then again, they said that about 8 and 9 :|

One again no love for midori/opera/links.

I've quit using opera, due to RAM issues, but links never gets the love.

Does Chromium show up separately or as "chrome" ? I use Iron (Chromium), so I'm curious.

And it's gotten much better (to the point of being usable) but I still don't prefer IE. I don't really get my windows computer online that much anyway.

Interesting stats nonetheless!

Why would Midori count as Chrome? Because of Webkit? What about Safari? I thought browsers reported their identity to the website. (Like on Opera, you can set it to mask as Firefox, etc.)

Safari came in at #4 w/ 6.5%
