my money is on a translation issue
color names are particularly hard to translate from chinese to english
Senter speaks fluent English and I suspect fluent Chinese too, I doubt it. Just seems like an unfortunate case of mismatched colours in production or just a photo that didn't represent what he had in his head.

there's no word for teal in chinese as far as i know, i've seen it written with the same word as green a few times
then again my chinese isn't super great so i could be totally wrong
Have to admit I'm a little disappointed in the "green" it's definitely cyan or seafoam green at best in the daylight.. was definitely hoping for a bit more green in there vs bright blue...Show Image

I must admit the green plates have a little color difference compared with the other green parts. Light colors except silver are always difficult to be accurate, especially on the thin plates.
Here are some comparisons between the green plate and other green parts. Apparently, the plate is a little lighter but not terribly imo. The color of other green parts should be pretty much the same as the prototype I showed before.
Thanks Blue, I always thought my English is terrible. The language barrier does exist but I think it's not the case. It's more like a culture difference. In Chinese, there's a lack of formal color names. I'm learning all kinds of stuff in English but I'm not sure if I can make it right everytime.
Hi Puddsy. The teal color can be called Tiffany color in Chinese because Tiffany used it a lot. Some people know it, some don't. Your point stands I think. The green color provided in this GB was called "Green". My understanding is that it means all possible shades of green. I provided color samples in OP and that's the shade of green provided. Unfortunately, the green plates are little lighter as I said. I'm sorry about that.
