I had to remove the led on the right shift otherwise the costar stabilizer hits it when trying to bottom out

I did costar too, I didn't reinstall any of my LEDs even tho it only effected two switches. Plus it allows me to mod them without desoldering as well

Received mine last Saturday and finally installed the first one yesterday! Very happy with it so far!

But the LEDs of the Poker are a pain to desolder and I made some silly  mistakes like starting to solder switches back in without installing the stabilizers first.

I have one. I am thinking it's the tip that I am using that isn't getting hot enough at the actual tip. Anyway, I'll figure it out.

These plates are awesome, and they should be on Pokers all over the world.

Wonder if it will fit the GH60 as well...

If you want to do a standard ANSI 125 layout on the GH60 it will. But some of the switches are rotated, so they will fit in the holes in the plate, but you lose the ability to open those without desoldering first.

Thanks for the info...
Guess Id simply file additional gaps in for the rotated switches... if we actually go with rotated switches for the final board ;)

I have no idea. I'd love to ship plates with the PCB but I don't know when that's going to happen or who's even running GH60 PCB so I'm really in the dark.

I believe komar said he would start the GH60 PCB GB soon-ish. I think he's still working everything out with the fab for getting the controllers and SMD components sourced, etc.

how about a sandwich of alum and acrylic, so value and awesomeness are balanced :D

actually you could make it for the gh60 since they have (or will have) the same mounting, so it is getting cheaper because of the amount of orders.

Finally got around to putting this in my poker. Unfortunately the space bar stab is one of those bendy cherry ones and it soooo doesn't work (did I put the wire in upside down? Don't remember). So rather than toss my now pretty hefty pcb at the nearest wall, I set it aside to be once again desoldered in its entirety.  Once I cool off a bit first. Maybe 5 days or so. Boooo

I heard that you were having troubles with the stabilizers. I never even knew that the pokers came with a non-straight spacebar wire. You should be able to just get a straight wire. But I think that also means desoldering :(

yea I will more than likely swap wires with my race which has a straight wire. I thought I was done with desoldering .... :(   I hope my $11 NexxTech pump holds up. It's not very good to begin with.

Yea I'm gonna need to get one. This Nexxtech one is too small I think. Not a long enough stroke or big enough body(?) so not as much suction power as the soldapullt would have.

I had the same problem after I installed my plate. I ended up taking a pair of snips to the cherry stabilizer to avoid having to unsolder the switches again. I replaced it with a costar stab, of course that lead to a problem with the backlight led. :) I ended up de-solder the led and sanding it down a bit to get it to fit with the costar stab.

I'm trying figure out shortcuts to avoid desoldering but I'm just gonna have to nut up and do it. You may see a WTB thread going up for a new poker PCB once I'm through with this thing haha. Plates are a pain in the ass but in the end it's going to be worth the effort.

EDIT: I'm too impatient to wait for costar stabs haha
