Hi, I'm having a little problem that is weird to me. I changed my keycaps from epbt to dsa yesterday. Now my c key feels kinda scratchy when I press it on the lowest end of the cap. I already tried changing to a different dsa cap and the problem still exists, so it has the be the switch. The problem didn't occur with epbt though. Any tips?

Hotswap PCB was definitely an afterthought with this board, IMO. The hotswap sockets are practically (or even literally) touching the bottom case when assembled, essentially making the sandwiched gasket plate assembly pointless -- it is typing directly into the bottom of the case.

Kinda, yeah. Also for full PC versions (both case and plate are PC) swapping switches without full disassembly is a nearly impossible feat. And given the issues with screw holes and threading it’s really scary.

Does anybody know whether any vendors sell solderable PCBs that are compatible with Leaf60?

Don’t think so. Unless you buy another Leaf60 which happens to have a solderable PCB with it. There was a different “compatible” PCB on mechmarket but that one requires filing the plate because of a flipped enter stabilizer on that PCB.

I’ve being trying to reach out to [mention]senter [/mention]for a while now but I get no answer no matter what I do.

I do hope that there will be a reproduction round for Leaf60 PCBs in the future though.

The HHKB plate file I have measures:

290.699mm length in the horizontal
104.199mm height in the vertical

(With a 14mmx14mm switch cutout)

You will get the correct dimensions if setting 1 unit = 1mm when opening the plate file.
