I have sent a quote off to Signature Plastics.

After I get the quote back, I will see where to go from there.

Hi,

So I've got the quote back from Signature Plastics and here it is:

They also said that they are booked with DSA through November so they can't run it until December.

Lookin good, this could be my second DSA keycaps set.

Only one problem, my k-boards are 108 keys. So I be missin 4 caps? If I join this GB/drop if/when it is comin  to Massdrop.

Ok I have a ISO/Nordic Ducky Shine 3 YYY TKL (I don't use TKL k-boards) so I gonna give that k-board to my son.

Hi,

What are the extra 4 keys so that I can either add them to a current pack or add a new one.

Hi Joshua

Thanks for the answer, the 4 extra keys are Calc, Mute, Volume down and Volume up.

You're welcome.

I don't mind usin those 4 keys in the image for as a replacement for the Calc, Mute, Vol up and down keys, I never use them anyway. It is most for  get a full 108 matchin keys set on my second Ducky One k - board.

I use the 104 keys Tai - Hao Miami keycaps set on my Ducky One RGB YOTG board, so I'm missin 4 caps on that board.

I could maybe add the extra 4 keys to the novelties or Planck set to make it ergodox compatible?

Unless you can think of any other ways of doing it?

Any chance of adding some extra mods to the Planck set? Gives a little bit more flexibility to laying out the right side/corner, such as Backspace, Enter, Shift, or replacing the arrow keys with Ctrl, Meta, Super, Hyper.

A user from r/MK suggested adding 2 blank 1u keys to the Planck set for people who use GRID layout. Is this sort of where your coming from?

It wasn't quite my suggestion (although having 2x 1u blank is something I forgot to mention!)

Because there are so many different custom layouts for the Planck, adding some duplicates to the mods might help support those where people have the same key twice. The most common example of this is having a right and left shift, like this:

I'm not sure how common other duplicates are though.

Yea, wishing I had render skills because I'd love to see a high quality render of this and I'm sure that might help drum up support for the IC.
Maybe the green would look a little more accurate /shrug

As this is DSA, can't you just swap the keys around to match Colemak? The only issue would be homing I guess.

@jjanssen1 Does the Base Alpha set have homing keys?

Now that you mention it, you actually could just swap the keys around for a Dvorak or Colemak layout. And yes the base alpha has homing keys, but I could add 2 non homing keys to make it Dvorak/Colemak compatible.

That would be good. A Homing Keys set, with T/N (Colemak) and U/H (Dvorak), would be great too, but reaching MOQ would be unlikely?

To be honest, i didn't realize that DSA profiles didn't matter. But yeah, homing keys set with TN/UH plus a non-homing FJ would be amazing.
