Makerbot cost almost twice of it but Makerbot sounds more appealing.

MakerBot is a 3d printer machine. But the roland is like milling machine or somthing like that. yeah It is $900

I bet those machine will go down/need maintenance 1st b4 you manage to make profit...

or...20 people to share it at 50usd each and it makes keys for them /drools.
