MX8000 series is pretty much a direct fit for Filco and etc. if you don't mind relegendable... the spacebar is still incompatible though.

Why all the SP hate in this thread lol. What did they do to wrong us?

Ultra tight fitting Retro Key-set, broke a couple stems off the keys removing them from my Filco's, WASD's and a couple of Leopold's (hated that).  Same with Miami, Valentine V1, 23 Commando (1 stem broke), CC&G R2 (2 stems), Red Alert V1, Sanctuary and Hazard Keyset.

You might be wondering why I keep buying SP key-sets because I have lots more that haven't broke sitting in quite a few working keyboards.  Just be aware that a certain percentage of poorly built keys still get shipped out without SP even bothering to use any decent quality checking procedures.

Of course now when buying any further SP made key-sets I still need to buy a tub of KY to fit the keys onto each keyboard now.  Amazing how a little lubricant can save you from any hardship  .

Maybe you should work on your pulling technique - I have all the sets and boards you mentioned (except WASD) and never broke a single stem.

GMK Miami with white legends would be complete and utter bliss. The GMK Magenta and Cyan are so vibrant!

SP fixed the tooling for DSA. If you read the thread that binge started, I contacted SP and reported the issue to them and SP followed-up with me that they had found and fixed the issue.
DSA Retro is the only GB that had this issue.

I use a traditional stainless steel key-cap puller, heavier tool than the standard Filco key-cap puller supplied in your Filco keyboard package.  The caps once inserted are then difficult to remove no matter how gentle you become.  I admit I'm no delicate angel when it comes to handling small, tiny objects like key-caps but when I pull the cap it literally separates from the stem and sure enough I have the broken stem left on the Cherry switch.  Which drives me insane beyond words  .

Of course I heavily apply lubricant and the keys can now be removed easily without any breakage.  Although now I simply fill a keyboard with SP key-caps then leave it there permanently because I can't risk removing them.  I don't apply them onto any Korean Keyboard for fear of any damage because you do change key-sets on them when it comes to GMK beauties.

i broke the top of my clear cover once trying to a get a dsa cap off of a pcb mounted clear switch.  quite sad

1. The clear switch covers that obo studio made that we all bought are ****.
It doesn't matter what keycaps you put on them. Your going to break the brittle POS switch tops they sold us.

2. SP fixed the dsa tooling and every set made after dsa retro is fine and does not damage the switches.

3. Again this **** has no place in a group buy thread.

Those low profile caps from the G80-3800 are devlin caps I believe not GMK or cherry. And orders close July 1st not June 1st.

Extras, they're the first key to shine up usually.

The DOX mods are just like a normal Cherry set with sculpted profile E-B rows, so they would match profile for standard Cherry alpha keys in their respective rows. You can always help spread the word that DOX is available. I'm pretty sure there are more than 250 total users of this board out in the world that may want something nicer than the SP offerings that have previously been available. Even if they are not interested in any other options offered here... combing them with a used $10 7000 set would be a good value.

I'm a sucker for the colored keys so I ordered the color pack (more GMK esc keys ).

I like the base set, looks top notch quality, but the colors are too blah for me, as in too modest/subtle.

I said no to this set too many times. I couldn't say no again. I'm in. Dolch was one of the color schemes that drew me into keyboards. It'll look nice on a board with really bright LEDs like my Pure with magenta LEDs or my upcoming custom 1800 which will have cyan/magenta/white LEDs.

Leopolds are not compatible with other spacebar since they made the spacing stupid for no reason. Leopold owner should have plate modified/new plate cut with correct spacebar stabilizer size for permanent fix to problem.

So just to clarify what type of Spacebar is it? 3 or 4 stemmed?

I have the Leopold 750R so a Universal (6 stem) Spacebar would work, though I'm guessing the bar with this set is not Universal.

I hope Oddmods reach MOQ. I understand now that I still won't have a nice spacebar for my Minila, so I bought a Poker II to replace it
