Janome MC 400E and Brother PE900 Embroidery Machine Comparison

When talking about top brands of embroidery machines, Janome and Brother are always mentioned first. If you wonder which brand is suitable for your project, you have come to the right place! In this review, we would like to look at the features, benefits, and drawbacks of two models: Janome MC 400E and Brother PE900, to help you purchase the best computerized embroidery machine for home use.

Janome Memory Craft 400E Embroidery Machine:

Specifications' Review:

The first key feature is the LCD touchscreen, which allows users to edit the designs with numerous operations such as combining designs, enlarging and rotating designs, etc. With this particular feature, users can efficiently finish their orders. If you want to emphasize your signature design, don't worry the USB port would help you a lot.

Moreover, for embroidering 2- and 3-letter monograms, the 160 built-in designs and six fonts for monogramming provide a wide range of decorative stitch possibilities. While the machine is embroidering, you can also configure jump thread trimming if it's 3mm or longer and set the stitch-per-minute pace between 400 and 860 SPM. Suppose you struggle with the cutting thread task within the automatic needle threader function. In that case, you can do this task automatically by pressing the button on the screen.

Benefits and Drawbacks:

When it comes to the benefits of this top-of-the-line embroidery machine, the first thing is the embroidery speed. Compared to other models on the market recently, this machine's stitches are fast, which means customers can finish the projects quickly and effortlessly.

Also, this machine is included with a 25-year warranty for mechanical parts and a two-year warranty for electrical components, which makes users feel assured. However, it still has some minor flaws. First, this versatile embroidery machine is not for beginners as it would take too much time for them to understand the device thoroughly. Next is the price tag because it is pretty expensive for a professional embroidery machine.

Brother PE900 Embroidery Machine:

Specifications' Review:

When it comes to finding the best embroidery machine, don’t underestimate the Brother PE900.

Firstly, this Brother PE900 comes with 193 built-in designs and 13 fonts, which supports users to create embroidery collections with unique designs. Moreover, you also get ten various frame forms and fourteen alternative border designs. A 3.7-inch LCD touchscreen on this embroidery-only machine allows you to preview your patterns in color before embroidering them onto your item.

If you have a design that will be embroidered soon, for example, the next day, the built-in memory of this machine would help you save the designs without re-entering them. The best function is the automated bobbin ensuring a flawlessly uniform bobbin.

Benefits and Drawbacks:

The first advantage of this Brother computerized embroidery machine is its thread sensor which will notify you when the bobbin thread is low. Moreover, users can work efficiently in poor light conditions or dark fabric thanks to the lighting function centered over the sewing area. The only disadvantage of this machine that customers usually complain about is the embroidery area. It is too small to work with large fabric or large embroidery projects.

Final Thought:

This review shows you two of the best-rated embroidery machines that are both computerized and high-quality for customers. However, to own a suitable product for yourself, you must first examine your objective, your budget, and the model's specs before selecting a model. You might be able to choose the best rated embroidery machine for your embroidery projects if you follow these procedures and the information in this article.

it would be frankly ridiculous to expect office workers to get anything done without at least a number pad.  the number row is excruciatingly slow and using it to input more than one or two numbers over 4 digits or so is downright painful.

if data entry was part of my job and the office-supplied keyboards were 60% layout, I'd bring a different keyboard.

Yes, if your job includes working with numbers you definitely need a numpad.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"
