Information about Leoplod FC660c
« on: Mon, 16 November 2020, 14:40:19 »
Hello to everyone,
I wanted to buy a second FC660 so I could get one to use at home work as well. However, I was trying to insist on a potential version of IT as the ability to quickly switch between typing on my computer and typing on my iPad would be something I really wanted. Is there any information or discourse on this subject?
I would appreciate it if you could inform.
Respects..

Can you explain what you mean by "...trying to insist on a potential version of IT as the ability to quickly switch..."

If I'm understanding you correctly, you might be able to try a USB switcher. I've got a KVM where I have one keyboard plugged into it and I can switch which device I'm typing on by swapping the inputs. The limitation in this case would be it works off USB type B.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about:
https://www.amazon.com/Selector-Switcher-One-Button-Swapping-Keyboard/dp/B07M66SD79/ref=asc_df_B07M66SD79/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=343187928868&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12909919053493699104&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1018598&hvtargid=pla-699399122054&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=68968886357&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=343187928868&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12909919053493699104&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1018598&hvtargid=pla-699399122054.

I gave this one as an example because it doesn't require USB Type B to connect from your computer to the device. Functionally, I don't know if there would be a difference between them since they both can provide power and data. Historically the design was to assist in the directional aspect (USB A into computer, USB B into printer, scanner, etc), but I haven't tested it.

Whether this works with iPad (or any apple product for that matter) is beyond my expertise (android for life!) but I've had no issues with my Aimos KVM.
