Hey, so the top piece of my 268 was apparently damaged on arrival so Xondat said he's going to be getting another top redone. The top piece is going to be blue grey like what was offered in the 280. I don't want to wait any longer, (was told that it was apparently 5-8 weeks to get a new one made), so I'm trying to see if there is anyone interested in taking my spot.

It includes:
Blue grey top
Dark Grey bottom
2 x PCB's
1 Universal Brass plate
1 Universal polycarb plate

Should be around 480 USD + whatever shipping is. Please PM me if you're interested in taking over

Annoyingly there was a miscommunication. I was told once I've confirmed the colors I had chosen were correct, that they'd be ordered in ready for the parts, however it seems they're waiting for the parts to arrive, and then they'll place the order.

FWIW got my replacement bottom half today, looks fantastic. Xondat addressed and resolved my issue so I'm happy thus far, just have to clean the screw holes and build it!

What's the latest on the best method for loosening up the sand in the threads and removing it? I remember in this discord people said simple green worked?

Iirc washing up liquid and a tooth pick worked, might not be the most efficient but not likely to cause any damage to the part
