Ooooh, I'm definitely in for the 40's kit to compliment my R1 set.

I would like to request a couple of extra keys though that would be nice to have (if at all possible):

• R2 1.5 Backspace key
• R3 1.25 Enter key
• An extra R4 1.75 Shift key

Again, these would be nice to have but I'm sure the kit will do well regardless. Awesome work as always biip!!!

R2 1.5u backspace is in base kit btw, included for split backspace layouts like hhkb. But it also works for some 40s boards which is nice.

Due to how Nomad kit struggled on GMK Bushidō I won't offer Minivan support. That would increase the price and we have a 150 MOQ to reach.

I have a weird issue with the Bento that I think prevents me from buying it.
I think the renders of the Bento on keyboards from the original release look fantastic, but when I look at the actual photos people took of the kit I'm nonplussed.
I think the reason for this is the stark contrast between the shade of red in the renders vs in the actual sets.

Of course I assume because everyone loves this set it will remain, and obviously I don't disagree with that I was just curious if anyone feels this way.

That's a set that is definitely hard to photograph. It's really lighting dependant and needs to be caught with neutral settings.
Colors turn off most of the time which literally ****s the contrast of the two colors.

Yeah, I can understand that the lighting will make a huge effect on how we perceive the colours, it's just compared to the original renders I feel like only the 4th photo makes the red look pinkish-enough.
Of course this is just a personal issue that I wanted to raise, I'm in no way trying to discredit or demean you or the production. I do sincerely hope the GB goes well for everyone involved and they all love their end product.

I wish there were more 40s/50s/Assembly base kits. It makes it a lot easier for me to justify a keycap purchase.

For what's it's worth, that top photo is mine and I'm typing this on my R1 set and the salmon looks waay more pink on my desk than the photo. I'm actually surprised at how red it looks in that photo.

can't get here soon enough.

i'm in for 3 kits. 2 traditional, 1 revival. the revival will be paired with the bushido samurai mods. my brother didn't like the mix of red and white legends on the bushido, so this is the next best thing.

request: will it possible to have an option for all white function keys on the traditional kit? if they can't be included in the base kit, perhaps we can get them added to one of the optional kits? it's "only" 4 keys

Keysets are unlimited group buys almost always, which means if you buy, you'll get the set.  They are pre-order's though, so don't expect the set for 12-14 months though.

The R2 PgDn key in the base kit should be PgUp. Please include R3 PgUp, R4 PgDn as well.

Please don't do this. I'd rather not have to pay an extra $30 overall for the numpad if it gets split into its own child kit. The savings per person for the base kit by removing the numpad is usually only about $10-$15 anyway.
