Is the aquamarine the same as for the KY-01 75% I've got here next to me? (it's a great color!)

Do you happen to have a photo of it? I'm hoping it is more "green" as in the render in this GB versus the sample block photo shown in the KY-01 page.

Sometime early evening tomorrow I’ll get you a pic. Have SA Sail, camping, nuc data, and some blue sets I can put next to it. I’m +/- on the layout, just loved the color...

Compare the KY01 render to this: https://imgur.com/a/Q9VrPIe

Left: u80a lake, right green kbd8x. Space cadet blue, botanical novs, SA sail, nautilus r2 novs.

The lighting varies on purpose so you can see bright vs shadow. The color between the darkest GMK botanical to SA sail is the one in person in normal lighting.

I don’t own GMK waves, I bet it’s great. I bought for nautilus nightmares, and that’s at my dads place. If the TKL is the same color, I’ll sell this (nothing wrong w it, just like TKL better) and get that

Woah, thanks for that photo, went above and beyond what I was expecting. In the lighting in your photo, it looks even more green. It's honestly really nice and I think a WoB set would go really well with it.

It’s really a fairly even mix of green and blue. So is the SP-111 that was supposed to be blue but turned out teal, and it’s a similar color to this just lighter.

Finish/packaging and all that was great too, and relative to Covid and the manufacturing delays in this business, that GB was basically on time.

so just want to confirm - this is a UK based GB? So buyers in the UK aren't going to be hit with additional import taxes?

The order form does not have an option to specify the type of weight. Which weight will be supplied?

Hello! Excuse the ignorance as I have never done a keyboard build before - but I notice there is one large hole in the plate where left shift is, which looks more like ANSI.  Is it able to fully support UK ISO with a small left shift and backslash as well?

The large hole means you can put switches in multiple positions, including the split left shift / slash keys. Otherwise for just ANSI you'd get the square hole for one switch only and two small rectangular holes for stabs.

as far as i understand we'll just need to pay the usual vat of 19%, there should be no further customs fees for computer hardware.

I want to buy the board, but the only thing keeping me from doing so is that I’m currently in between places now. If I move after the group buy ends, is it possible to change my shipping address (so long as it’s in the same country)? I reached out to MK UK, and they said KCK would need to determine that.

Please let me know, as I am hovering over the “checkout” button 🥵

As I am living in Germany I want to calculate costs including VAT and possible customs even though it seems to be determined as computer hardware. In the post it says the starting price will be 318£ in the UK but dropping down to 265£ if the residence is outside of the UK. At checkout the price is not changing unfortunately. I choose PC for Top and Bottom as well as different extras. Do my changes to the starting price have any effect on the reduction?
Edit: I solved it by changing the region in "Deliver to a different adress?" too.

    Wow!
    Love ISO, back-lit boards.
I’m thinking white top and frosted poly bottom for the light to bleed out... Have you tried that?

I also wondered about hot swap pcb options.

from my understanding there is no backlighting, just per-switch-led on the pcb. frosted poly bottom would'nt have any glow effect in this case.

When do you expect to be able to ship? This is not mentioned anywhere?

Sorry. Answered my own question. It says September.  :))

    Well,
For many this GB was a great disappointment. I consider myself scammed.
I have received the wrong upper part, the wrong lower part and the wrong weight.
Even more: the screws are missing, which means that I cannot finish it for now.
The creator "Kenny" does not reply to E-mails and I cannot join the Discord-channel anymore.
       >:D

By the way, does anyone of you know, what screws are used? I need your help to finish it!
