Just would like to ask if the kits are final? Won't there be any mac icon kit? I know that I'm part of a minority when it comes to this...

Kits are not entirely finalised, for one, the numpad will be split from base in order to get base kit prices down to a great level. If I see enough interest in a Mac icon kit, I would be more than willing to have it as an option :)

...prices down? It's ePBT. I don't think it gets any more "down" than that! lol.
Jokes aside, at least their moq system lends itself to this sort of kitting change and it should work out great.
Instead of "mac" mods, why not just go full on novelty mods? I do really appreciate the minimalism of a thin warm text on a stark black key, but I would really love the option of having a THICC and juicy novelty kit.

as a mac user with a preference for tsangan bottom rows, i appreciate 1.5u super keys and 1u alt keys. which means i probably would pass on mac modifiers. just the same, i’m looking forward to seeing how this set evolves. glwic  :thumb:

+1 on this.

Also if you use 2U shift in base kit, consider adding 1U shift and 1U R4 Delete for GK64 compatibility

Currently I haven't really seen enough demand for mac icons so they most likely won't be included at this rate, but I'm glad that you like the set.

I like the idea of nums in base, so that I have it in case I want to match it up my board and a pad. But I get it.

I am personally someone who would rather spend more for a PBT/ePBT set if more things were included, since it is a more inexpensive route. I'd also be super fine with novelties or some accents in base.

The numpad kit will be inexpensive due to just how cheap epbt keys are, but I wanted to minimise the pricing for the base kit considering it already covers a large amount of layouts. Another advantage of using the ePBT MOQ system is that no matter what, the numpad kit will be produced, so separating it won't come with the risk of it not being produced.

reverse dyesub PBT (bad) or doubleshot ABS (good)?

ePBT actually does both.

The alpha/mod colour is indeed CR, so a proper black :)

will you run pre-production samples to assure color quality on reverse dye sub?

Love the look and love the way the IC is laid out, really nice!

Are the 6.25u and 7u spacebars the same color as the ones in the base kit? Not sure there would be a need for duplicate spacebars.

really hyped to see this set moving closer to GB but i'm confused about your pricing. here's a comparison with a couple of others running now. kitting between solaria and origami looks very similar, with an extra iso enter and a few other keys in origami. 6085 has fewer keys. none of the three sets has numpad in base.

     epbt solaria base: $105 usd
     epbt origami base: $85 usd
     epbt 6085 base: $79 usd

numpad pricing is similarly >20% above the other two sets. also, with the flexibility of epbt kits i'm also confused why it's necessary to put ISO in base since most people buying the set will never use the extra keys and child kits are produced as long as the base kit hits MOQ. but this is coming from someone who has never run a GB, let alone a IC, so feel free to correct me.

i'm excited for your success as a designer however your pricing looks to be, umm, aggressive.

is this the first epbt gb with base pricing over $100?

Hi, so I do understand your concerns with pricing, and it does look rather aggressive when compared with sets like ePBT Origami and 6085, however the reason for the steeper price is the fact that the set is reverse dye sub, which causes a considerable increase in manufacturing costs. This also isn't the first epbt base kit with >100 pricing, as ePBT Be the One had a 105 dollar base kit with a similar size.

I don't know if this is the right place for it, but to me it seems like the [:;] key in the international kit should be a [,;] key or not?
The [:;] key is also in the base kit.
