new GPUs :D
Nice, very nice indeed! :thumb: How's your new build coming along? I really want to jump on a couple of R9 290X, but my 3x HD7970's are doing a bang up job with games, even at 5760x1200, so I din't feel a new to upgrade.
Its still waiting for a lot of parts :( and still deciding on which waterblock for the GPU, really wanna get the aquacomputer one but stock still unknown
290 is bang for the buck, some say the powercolor 290 can be flashed to 290x but I dont think I'm gonna do that
I'm done with gambling and the improvement is so minimum
your 7970s still good man, might just spend more on keyboards :p

do you have another translucent to compare? Besides the missing stamp, are there more characteristics that are not normal? the closer I look on the first pic, the "face" seems to have a wrong surface structure. And on the bottom the edges look to perfect. Most of my clacks have minor imperfections there. And this one looks like it was kind of polished or abraded there.

That fake is both impressive and sad.  And good for you for not starting a witch hunt, not without any facts before you.

Is CC going to send you a real one or are you just sending him off the fake to inspect and see the quality of the fake.

It's interesting to see something like this pop up again.  I remember that one person who made a good fake, but said they'd only keep it for themselves and they just did it to see if they could.

Never thought I would see fake CC's but at the price they sell for I guess they will fake anything!  I have to think it wouldnt be all that hard for them to add the bottom mark if they are going through all the trouble of making the CC in the first place.  Sad none-the-less.

I think the scar part is that the quality seems very close to the original and if the one that made it had decided to copy the stamp, then it would have been very hard to call it a fake. More so if the buyer didn't have more clacks to compare them to...

I really wonder if there are already more of them out there, maybe even non-translucent.

I hope the ones that appeared are kind of trackable to their origin.

I think the scar part is that the quality seems very close to the original and if the one that made it had decided to copy the stamp, then it would have been very hard to call it a fake. More so if the buyer didn't have more clacks to compare them to...

I really wonder if there are already more of them out there, maybe even non-translucent.

I hope the ones that appeared are kind of trackable to their origin.

there are 4 that i know about right now, but i guessing plenty more

having looked more into it, the origin is fairly clear also
I'M IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING RIGHT NOW, WILL BE BACK AROUND SOON

I wonder why that individual that put so much effort in that fake, didn't fake the stamp.

I also like bottom shots. But most girls refuse my request when I ask them.

Also the scars on the face are much less detailed on the fakes than originals.

It was only a matter of time, folks. Enjoy your $$$ pieces of plastic. Many others will enjoy them for a percentage of the cost.

Good to know that you are getting kicks out of the misfortune of other members.  What a great attitude.
