an influx of fakes into the market would probably drive sales of real CC's even higher...

:)) :)) :))

It was only a matter of time, folks. Enjoy your $$$ pieces of plastic. Many others will enjoy them for a percentage of the cost.

some people potentially lost some items of considerable value because of this sir, including myself obviously

Until the hidden source of the fakes reveals itself and starts begins mass producing and selling them... It's bad for CC but if everyone can get a "clack" then much of the drama on this forum will not exist.

Sorry to hear that MK, that really sucks...especially with that trade  :'(

you too bunny :/

It was really a shock to see more trans clacks randomly popping up...It makes sense now

Show Image

Also the scars on the face are much less detailed on the fakes than originals.

Anyone else who makes special caps out there with those natural sharp edges?
Time for Geekhack to go ****ing sherlock homes on these caps

Bad Bingey.  ;)

nobody wants fake clacks sir, and these are not being made to be sold for 10 dollars on mass, they are currently being made and used to take advantage of people

Oh. All your friends in Korea don't care?

Is this why there has been a great influx of Korean members to this site, with hopes of obtaining them?

Trying to brush a statement off as nothing doesn't make it nothing. You said that you think they're coming from Korea or Asia. Why? You base your opinions on racist stereotypes, without any knowledge or actual facts. Sounds racist to me. You don't know that this thing didn't come from any other country.

Also, you quoted another one: leesofi. And I know there are plenty other Asian members here who love these caps.

Racist.

It isn't racist if the people that have them all received them an Asian country....

Racist.

You are making a personal attack right now, and it's been forwarded

But besides that, how am i being racist, you are assuming opinions and lashing out at me because you do at every opportunity

You obviously don't spend time at other forums, because other trans clacks have been popping up randomly, and for their rarity, that would seem odd, and thus why I think it's coming somewhere over there

no racism, very plain and simple.

Got my Used/Good Hakko 888D from Amazon and a lot of housings for solderless LED attachment.  The iron seems to be in good condition indeed with a brand new tip.  Haven't turned it on yet to test.  Looks great though--I like the light weight of the iron itself, and the station seems very good quality.

please post pics of how you solder in the LED housing and how you broke them apart. I have some with me but I can't find an effective way to break all of them out without damaging them. Thanks!

I am no fan of windowed keys.  I ordered the grey set.  Caps does not seem windowed.  Hope no other key is either but the spacebar seems keycooled.

Received a GH60 Rev B prototype PCB, Mr. Speakers Mad Dogs, Schiit Magni, and (not for me) a purple Boost Super Hero cap. Thank you to tjcaustin for the audio swag and GH60 prototype. Oh and hopefully boxes for the Kishsavers and Linear Green Alps are waiting for me at the Post Office. :D

Is that a challange?  End result will be lighter.  These 2 pieces are the entire stock for cutting out the top cover and the four sides.
