Hello all, I would like to take a second and thank everyone for the patience, feedback, and help that I have received on this set so far! This is a fun learning experience for me as well as great opportunity to further include myself in the hobby. Thank you for all the support, and keep being cool!

Introducing GMK Black Cherry, designed by Django., inspired by the fruit, Black Cherry.

The dark Red-Violet, Black, and Pink are influenced by... well... cherries!

Fun to type with, not to eat!

GENERAL REMARKS (Updated 2023/04/27)
- The idea of the inclusion of a mono kit seemed to be popular amongst those that participated in the IC form, will consider and work with some ideas! (2023/03/13)
- The split between which novelties to use are EXACTLY 50/50 at the moment, considering there is no overwhelming response for either or, I believe I will incorporate both
OG Cherry Logo and the custom Cherry Logo
- Did color matching, mainly for RAL 4004 and MG1 to produce more accurrate renders
- Still awaiting rights from Cherry MX

I hear ya, however GMK Maroon would be best for you then when pre-orders and extras roll around both kits use RAL 4004

Novelties in base kit is never a good idea

While the IC is in progress, it seems that most people have the same mindset! Next couple of updates will provide base kit adjusted without novelties

People seem to be split between the custom cherry novelties and the OG Cherry Novelties. At this time I am leaning towards including both novelties.

As a UK resident I'm a little dismayed to see ISO-UK be removed from base but I appreciate that it's to include the rest(tm), so it's all good. You seem pretty on top of things with responding to feedback. Good luck!

Honestly I've come around to it a bit more in the days since I've posted that, and I believe theming wise it works perfectly, but like I said I just like pink all too much.

It was a very hard desicion in this scenario, after IC I had half saying they loved MG1 and the other half saying that it was too bright. There is a chance that I will be switching back as the renders are not final. This new RAL color was an attempt to please both parties, but I do not belive I have done that.

i think anyone who complained mg1 is too bright either have never owned a keyset with mg1 in it or are trapped in a groupthink bubble where every keyset has to be beige/yellowed or ye olde desaturated color pallete

mg1 is already a little bit dull and somewhat dark-ish for a color that is supposed to represent magenta

The reason why I halted the process is because of a couple things:
- I was starting to lose the vision of what I wanted
- Colors were not matching the way I had hoped

After some thought, MG1 will be brought back for a couple of reasons:
- Easier to match
- Overall looked better

I tried pleasing both parties at once but in the end it didnt work out. Just working on getting my swatches in to finish up color-matching, but overall MG1 will be brought back

New color of accents and legends is making a difference. Now it’s a really nice set with matching color theme. I would only suggest to make a few different novelties for a better variety.

Not that I've got a huge preference in pinks, but given the differences between what the internet shows, what the paper color standard looks like, and what the actual plastic looks like, might be best to take the CR black and MG1 from a color ring and put it on top of a plastic chip of 4004 and whatever other color you're choosing, with a photo in sunlight and another in artificial, and the the rest of the color ring in the background.

Any chance to get a modifier kit using RAL4004 for the legends OP? It would be an insta cop for me if it had that set as an extension kit! Either way it's an awesome colorway though, GLWIC/GB!

Originally, the reason I wasn't wanting to add an RAL 4004 extension kit or mono-alpha kit is because 'GMK Maroon' exsists, and it uses RAL 4004 as well. However, I have found out recently that the RAL 4004 I am showing in my renders is too dark, therefore I am trying to match a color to the alphas you see in the renders right now. Because I don't believe I will be using 4004 anymore, (because it is too bright) there is a possibility of implementing an extension kit because it seemed that many wanted it. There is still some debate about this, but there is still definetly work to be done on this project and I am doing the best I can to listen to everyones amazing feedback I will be posting another update ASAP when I get my physical samples in.
