I see a pattern here - all those "not sure if hot" women have more kinda "male lines" on their faces - maybe this is why you feel those are not hot 
Mmm... It may lean that way for some faces, but for example angelina jolie, extremely masculine jaw structure, yet there is no doubt that she is hot.

Jaw lines (square ones) and chick bones are feminine attributes, specially those slim ones, like Angie.
Men have sharper angles between chick bones and their chins - chins are also flat and wider, where females are pointed.
Then females jaws will be narrower - this, with angles and chick bones - makes gorgeous, sensual female look.
