"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

It's always funny to see on /g/ images and recognize the GH or DT users!

Here's a shot of my daily driver at home (until my SSK got it's cable and cleaning) with one of these Hellboy caps. I'm too lazy to change that magenta space bar and esc keycap to something different. I can't look at it anymore.

I don't have that expert knowledge regarding keycap quality, but these Hammer caps seem to be high quality. No bubbles, scratches, and they look all in all very clean. Maybe too clean, like a 'normal' industrial product.

Blargh... Holy cow, dood... I literally did the opposite of this last night but on my Filco (white instead of black and only printed RGB).  Must take pics to prove!

That looks so damn good... Everyone knows how much I love RGB combinations but holy damn... that board plus the blanks... I wish I had them blanks but I only own 1.25x, so no go for BSP. Love this picture, dood. Saved a million times.

What switch type?

Thanks bro. I have been saving these imsto blanks for this day :)

It has lubed vintage blacks. I am not to excited about linear switches, but these feel mighty fine to type on (typing on it now).

Well, you saved them for the perfect opportunity, IMO. Looks absolutely fooking gorgeous. Can't believe how well it matches that case... The blank RGB too... I already made a big ass deal about those blank RGB's when you first posted them after you got'm and did the combo with the blank whites (yes, it's another picture I have saved... lol).

Lubed vintage blacks are something I'm very familiar with, and I also did it with imsto thicks, and the combo is bloody brilliant (b^_^)b

Jealous... doesn't describe it.

That has to be one of the best looking keyboards I've seen on GeekHack so far!

I almost forgot! I tried to take a picture at similar angle, but yeah... I wasn't lying. Crazy coincidence.

Too bad my board ain't on the same level though... :P
