GMK CYL Beloved - Rerun of GMK KA2017
A little backstory. When I first started in the hobby, my girlfriend didn't want me to spend money on keyboards. She'd beat my ass every time she caught me, and yet I still do it. So I decided to lure her into the hobby by showing her cute artisans, keycaps, boards then I showed her this set and she loved it. She really wanted it, but it was very expensive. So we just gave up on getting it. Around 3 months later I contacted OG runner and finally got his/her permission. My gf will be very happy that I do this, so I can spend more money on keyboards hehe.

ws1 bars kit is relatively easy to find, either from sets you own or vendor website, but second b with ka2017 pink legend is not.

Thank you, thank you. These three small spacebars really expand coverage of the base. I hope this becomes standard practice for base kits, now that child kits are disappearing.

appreciated for sure. but there is still some things that could have been included but have been nixed .

like there could have been: 3key 40s and 6u centered in base. and maybe windowed in base like in hineybeige

gmk regal and frost witch r2 have decent kitting. or some of the recent KKB sets.

“hi friends - an update on me.

At the end of this last year i experienced a pretty traumatic life event, and as a result entered a depressive episode accompanied by some serious burnout.

Tickets have been very slow to be answered, and not much is being shipped. This last week I thought i might be fine, but I've had a particularly bad depressive episode whereby while I haven't been catatonic, I've definitely had anxiety around work and a few medium sized crises.

bad picture but samples looks a bit different from ka2017. it need to be a bit more pink and warm.
someone in my discord said that you didnt have to color match again when rerunning colors. the sample set is titled gmk beloved, so i suppose that they didn't use the original color and have me match a new one, but i need to confirm this with oblo. another thing that might cause slight difference is plastic/abs slightly yellowing, so i will send some samples to klc (he has a set of ka2017) to get a second opinion on them.

i suppose yellowing could play a huge role here as ka2017 is kinda old already. probably at least old enough to have changed enough in color since the set ran.

im too lazy to paraphrase. in this case i don’t think that it’s necessary do another matching. however renders will not perfectly match the keycaps because i matched the renders with my set. i think it’s better to get an actual OG color than the inaccurate aged one. hope you guys understand.

Looks correct to me. These pictures seem more vibrant than the GB pics, but I'm guessing these are closer to the actual colours?

These look better than the GB pics imo

these are GMK production renders which should not be used as a color reference to the actual product. GMK made these for designers/vendors to confirm the legend and keycap
