he watched puddsy's ketchup video submission and quit the hobby completely

I'm afraid to even ask.  Link?  Or is it going to make me quit the hobby too?

It's somewhere in the ketchup poems contest portion.

I stand by that as my finest keyboard achievement.

I didn't think the video was bad. You need more variety in the way you read, though; it was very monotone.

I would concur with this. It did read somewhat monotonously.

Okay, that was way different than I expected.  :))  Definitely thought we were talking about a gross/destructive video showing some intense Clackgore.

What I ended up finding was... something.  That's for sure.

So which ketchup poems do y'all think have the best shot at winning? Just went back and read them all again, and I'd say only 1/5 of the ~100 entries even have a chance.

Sent's really stands out. The flow, narrative, use of vocabulary & poetic devices, meta references...it's a definite banger and the front-runner in my eyes.

Chimera's is my runner-up. The second stanza is a bit weak, but the others are rock solid. "John Kerry's wife is an owner of Heinz / I would gladly let her put some on my fries" is memorable and always makes me crack a smile.

Puddsy & TheGreatIceDrake would be my honorable mentions.

I was browsing around some random sites and came across some place that looked like it was selling Clack Factory keycaps in topre and MX. Is that a legit site? Sadly, I forgot the site, and I saw it a while ago, so it's lost in my history. I wish I could find it now. x_x

Probably the website of K3KC. No they are not legit. He just duplicates Clacks and sells them with out permission.

This is probably the case -- I don't think any CCs have been sold at retail since the years of EK sales (p.s. rip EliteKeyboards)

Ah! That was the site. Thanks. I remember getting into Ducky keyboards a while ago (right before Ducky Shine 2 dropped) and wanted to get a Clack. Never was fortunate enough tho.

If he's really moved on, part of me would want him to come back and peel back the veil of his identity, the larger part of me thinks that would ruin it  :p

Either way, I hope he's doing well and enjoying only the finest of ketchups.

I think that'd be interesting but it's part of the charm.

Is there a brand of ketchup that's particularly famous in Canada?

If I say ketchup, I think Heinz.

A Scotopic (that's the black w/ green eyes, right?) and an Unconscious.

maybe I'll get one of those new-fangled stem modifiers for the Unconscious

Yeah that's Scotopic, with the blutlens (shiny) eyes.
On a Ducky? I didn't know there were MX Unconscious though.

I've been going through my personal clutter to try and get rid of some stuff, and while going through my keyboards I came across an old Ducky with two Clacks on it I forgot I even had. Nothing beats a surprise Clack!

Gotta share that surprise, man!

Show us the goods. Show us the Clacks.
