Friends, I received a lovely email this morning:

Quote
Your order is ready.

Shirts are ready but I won't have a chance to pick the shirts up until tomorrow. I'll be stuffing the Keycon shirts into my luggage since the shop's delays are making my USPS shipping window too tight. Keycon people, if you'd like a refund on the shipping, please let me know. I'll also bring it up at Keycon.

I will accept my refund in cash, payable at KeyCon West, on Saturday, July 12, 2014.  Thank you.

No that's a huge lie, I don't need a refund at all.  Donate it, please!

Bump this before you read the rest of the post.

Our shirts are here. This shop is great. The owner is good to work with now that I understand how he communicates. They got me the shirts on time and they're pretty laid back. But most importantly? They do great work. My dream has come true: Geekhack shirts printed on American apparel. If I do other prints, I'm going here. Just FYI, the orange is Pantone 172. It's the equivalent of RAL 2009, the orange used in the Geekhack Panavises.

Now on to the pictures.

The shirt fits perfectly on me. I love American Apparel. It's so soft!

This is the most color accurate picture. I'm bad at Photoshop :(.

As I said earlier. Those who are going to Keycon will get this first. I have 8 shirts that I will be selling there as well. Any leftover of those 8 will go on the Classifieds. Shipping will start sometime next week.

Great job CTPBadAss. I was trying to come up with a smart-ass comment to tease you about the shirts, but you've done such a nice job with them I don't want to spoil it.

Not that I couldn't think of anything clever.  :-\

Hehe, I actually still have a small for sale. But the shipping will start this week. If you noticed on stream that the shirts were a little long, that extra length will shrink in the wash. The rest of the fit will stay the same. XD

I have good news and bad news (for me). The good news is I'll be shipping the first batch of shirts on Saturday 7/19/14 :D.

The bad news is that the shop failed to mention that the $13.50 didn't include taxes. I'm going to end up eating $86 :(. I knew I'd hit a snag in this buy, glad it's on me and not on ya'll though.

Edit: Oh I forgot to mention. I have *one* Small shirt left. Please post here if you'd like it. The shirt is $13.50 + Shipping wherever you are. I can calculate shipping once you let me know where you are.

Are you sure? It's my mistake more than anything. I don't want anyone to feel obligated. I just posted to vent more than anything.

Either way, let me know your PayPal address and I'll help out too.

I think the consensus with that money is to donate it to Geekhack. I don't want to take money that's earmarked for something else already.

I'm sure.  No sense in you paying for that.  If you had realized it, we would have paid, so why shouldn't we pay now?  Not to force anyone else into this, but I'm just justifying why I want to help.

Hi friends, I've had a slight hiccup in plans. My car broke down. I'm currently waiting for a tow home. I'm not sure when I'll have wheels again so for the time being, I'm going to just day the shipping is delayed. Sorry for the delay everybody!

I did get home fine. Thank you for your concern  :-*.

I am extremely grateful I broke down in a parking lot and not on the highway or in an accident. I've been planning on getting a new car for a while so I'm not too worried. And I've sorted out everything else. Don't worry folks, your shirts will start going on early next week if not sooner. I just need to get my ride straightened out :D.

For now, I'll just say good bye to my faithful chariot :(

Not 100% sure yet. I'm really liking the Nissan Maxima and Altima my parents have. But I don't know. Need to do some research and budget calculating first.

Good choice.  My Aunt has bought nothing but Maximas for like the past 13 years.  She swears by them.
