Maybe it's the cold meds but I had a dream today of an M65-A made completely out of mirrored brass.
Some day...

Looked into this, it is toooo expensive.

I looked into SS too ; too expensive for any regular person.

How expensive?  Some of us might be crazy enough.

I think to get a perfect unit it was like 3k + or something, and it didn't scale properly with more units purchased; for SS.

I forgot the brass version cost, but I can revisit that. Maybe I can get a few units made for that one. Would be really nice to have in PVD w/ Mirror Black, Gold, and Silver of course.

My biggest fear however is damage for it. The slightest scratch would make me cry.

I'd be really interested in hearing about the cost of an M65-A machined out of brass in some sort of a silver finish.  Of any of those, that's what I'm probably crazy enough to pay for.

I would be interested in a raw aluminum case, if that's a possibility. I'd really like to do a mirror polish and custom ano.

Aluminium Oxide is porous, I am unsure if you can anodise aluminium and shiny finish at the same time. Never seen it done before

See the iPhone 7 jet black which - although black - is just anodised and polished and super shiny/close to mirror finish

See the iPhone 7 jet black which - although black - is just anodised and polished and super shiny/close to mirror finish

you can't polish anodizing, since the actual anodized layer is microns thick

they polish it first, then anodize it

Should I be worried that it still says "PRE-SHIPMENT INFO SENT TO USPS, USPS AWAITING ITEM" then?

No.

Shipping volume is currently high due to Holidays. It will most likely get scanned in at City of Industry hub, or another hub that is closer to the destination.

We had a case recently where it took 9 days to update.

Please wait for it to update.

Just hand polish the raw aluminum and then anodize. We did it for years with paintball guns.

Just let us know once they've all shipped out.  I'm sure mine is there somewhere but it's starting to feel like when you order at a restaurant, wait for an hour, and then are told that your order was lost.

@jchan (or anyone else) is USPS doing signature delivery for these?

I believe i had to sign for mine.

Just arrived! I did not have to sign.

Finally the wait is over! Can't wait to build this sucker tonight

Anyone else still waiting for tracking to update? Been 5 days now since I got the label created message. I'm not freaking out yet or anything, just impatient!

Give it a few more days. I'm sure shipping is at an all time high now due to the holidays and such.

I've been compulsively checking my paypal over and over to make sure I actually paid the invoice for this thing... hopefully it'll ship soon! At this point it's seeming like it'll just be a christmas present!

Probably a dumb question, but did you try a different usb cable?

Somewhere between 30-50 is my best guess.  Jchan has said he hopes to have them all shipped by the 12th, but gave himself till the 15th.

Sorry probably should've included some information. Tried 3 different USB cables and 2 computers. Pretty sure its the pcb.

I would email keyclack support.   You probably need a replacement.  I’m sure it’s fixable but will require some troubleshooting and proper equipment.

Did you test it before you built it?

If you want to take close up photos of the back of the PCB we can take a look here.
