The cost when the group buy opened or the cost now that its on Mechmarket? Because if its the latter I've been seeing those puppies go for $600-$700.

Well if you could go back in time and join the group buy last January, it would cost you somewhere along these lines (price will vary I'm giving you an estimate based on the options i chose)

M65-a (This includes the regular pcb not QMK, the nylon base, the regular plate not brass, eight, and space grey case, gmk screw in stabilizers): $285 + $50 Shipping
~75 zealios 65g switches: $60 +$10 shipping
Coiled cable: ~$35 including shipping
Keycaps: Well I spent $250 on SA Danger zone because that's because I'm insane.

So total so far I'm looking at about $700 and its not assembled yet.
Again your mileage will vary based on options you choose.

Wow, that's nuts. I never realized the true cost I've dumped into all this! I've never really checked the market for unbuilt vs built project keyboards like these, but do they typically sell for more or for less when the boards are completely built and functioning?

I'd imagine that unbuilt ones are sought after so others could build them as they please, but built boards have labor put into them and are fully functional.

Anyone else bootmapper pcb keeps on disconnecting and connecting back randomly?

Probably a dumb question, but did you try a different usb cable?

Sorry probably should've included some information. Tried 3 different USB cables and 2 computers. Pretty sure its the pcb.

I would email keyclack support.   You probably need a replacement.  I’m sure it’s fixable but will require some troubleshooting and proper equipment.

Did you test it before you built it?

If you want to take close up photos of the back of the PCB we can take a look here.

Oh yeah it was working for months and all of a sudden issues started happening. Didn't spill water or anything like that.

Stabs were included from gmk.

You gotta factor in "flip potential".

I hope when you sell your extras, your markup isn't going to be huge. Mechmini 2.0 had a 100% markup and only recently decreased that by 50% for black Friday sale and has been at the price ever since. And he still has many color options remaining.

I guess people are not happy with the markup and Mechkeys is finding it difficult to sell his remaining units.

You should expect to pay 150% to 200% of the GB cost, possibly more but not likely less

Ehhh, I don't really think a 40% (which is very niche) is really comparable to one of the most hyped keyboards of the year. There is very little chance of there being trouble selling whatever extras remain because there is way more demand than supply. Nothing against MM2, but no one is begging for an MM2 R2, let alone while R1 is still running, and THAT is not without a reason.

Question to those of you with non-updating tracking numbers... have you seen any progress yet?

I got my tracking number last Thursday (11/30) via FedEx, with an estimated delivery of Friday (12/08). It sat on "Shipping Label Created" all week, but I figured FedEx might be doing something wonky with the holidays. With that said... It's now 12/10 and it's still on "Shipping Label Created".

Anybody else in the same boat?

Mine was on route to Los Angeles to be then transferred to Canada but it got rerouted to Louisville where it's currently, still on it's way to Montreal. I can only assume the fires in LA California last week played a role in this?

So since mine hasn't shipped yet, I've sent an email to support@keyclack.com, asking for my order to be held until after the holidays. I just don't want a $400 package sitting on my front door for 10 days. I just need some confirmation that you read this and you can help me out with this. Thank you in advance. I should be M-65-A-285.

Hey jchan, I sent you an email before the weekend, but just in case that slipped through the cracks-- my tracking number still has not updated from 11/30 and it just says label created.

Do you know what's up with that? I'm getting kind of worried since it's been 12 days without any movement...

Thanks for chiming in guys, it is oddly comforting to know that other peoples' tracking numbers are being strange too! This is just downright bizarre  I use USPS and UPS for the vast majority of my shopping, so I wasn't sure whether this is a common occurrence with Fedex

Just letting you, I've been on the phone with Canada Post and USPS for the last couple of days, neither seem to be able to find my package anywhere. USPS says they gave it to CP 3 days ago. CP says they never got it.
I'm waiting for a call back with an update but they mentioned the sender might have to be the one to start an official inquiry.

Man, that sucks really bad.  Exact same thing happened with my white fox from Massdrop a year back. FedEx said USPS had it.  USPS said they never got it.  Sorry to say that 3 months after going through calls and web forms I got an apology email from USPS that they must have lost my package.  Form email said they hardly ever lose packages and to make sure a return address is always clearly added to the package in the future.  I was floored.  Massdrop refunded me.  Of course they had no extras to replace it.

As of last update there are still 53 boards that haven't shipped, so 53 of us still don't have tracking.

love the keyboard so much, but it seems the LED are not working anymore. I was messing around in bootmapper and i might have messed it up or something. Is there a keyboard shortcut to turn it back on? or is there a file or some option to default the keyboard back to factory settings?

Or is it possible there is an issue with like the PCB

EDIT: Redownloaded the firmware and it seems to be working now. Phewwww :D

Any update on progress? The 15th has come and gone, and apparently there are 50+ still left to ship?

Mine was sent out on the 29th of Nov and arrived today. Despite my board being one of those caught up in the delay having now assembled it and using it as of now I can say this board is, without doubt, worth the wait of any delay.
