Thanks again for this awesome cap !

I'm ever so happy he got there in one piece.  I've been using special packaging for all of my topre caps these days :)

I have two packages in my apartment and one coming tomorrow snoopy. Some quick thoughts as I sort through these.

- One box was wrapped better than the other
- The poorly wrapped box has kishsavers missing keycaps
- The oldest one I saw so far was one made in '83
- One has a sticker on the back from the "Pentagon Federal Credit Union"
- Most of them have their labels still
- They were made in Armock, NY

Pictures coming soon. I want to give all the boards a once over.

Pictures up
Winner. Winner of whole thread.

You have no idea how stoked I was about this. I went from thinking I'd never even see one in real life to having seventeen in my apartment :D.

Received my package today and it's opened due to new virgin delivery man sent to the wrong house and the owner kids opened them. Luckily the owner call me before his kids open the internal wrapping, not happy with the government delivery service. I should call FedEx next time to schedule a pickup for me.

Left side tape has been opened :

Um, a question here, since the package did not receive to me yet, did this thing wrapped with bubble plastic?(I'm curious) :

Saw a broken keyboard, bought a broken keyboard.

Also BNIBag WYSE. I guess this is one of the OG TK boards.

That spacebar is ridiculous.

That's how they used to be before Ctrl got moved to the wrong place.

Then Alt made an appearance.

Then Microsoft started infiltrating the scene and we ended up with Windows and Menu keys.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Special FedEx delivery.

Thank you to all who helped me take a card or two (too many of you great guys, can't really list all), and special thanks to CPT for going the extra mile to proxy and collect the cards at KeyCon, as well as Halvy and Mashby for collating the cards too!

I love you all! :-* :-*
