Diamond is fine. I'm not too picky about the particulars.

I think that diamond is the way go, maybe we'll have a definitive logo for the next set.

We are quickly approaching the time to order

Just some loose ends,

Does anyone have a sample image of the ISO enter key? I'm not familiar with it and I need an example for Signature. The good news is they would be able to produce it.

I also asked about the stepped capslock key and that is also feasible.

Awaiting quotes on both.

I would be interested in a set...only if it has international keys i.e. large enter key and small shift key.

PS, would it be possible to get a blank / T and N bump home row keys? Since typing in colemak here. Probably not but don't hurt to ask? lol.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see anyone* reply indicating that they loved Windows logo'ed meta keys.

So if we were to only get the diamond keys that would reduce the cost, right?

Windows keys are  part of the set, so the diamond will be in addition too.

I got pricing information of the J shaped enter keys and the stepped capslock.

If we get a stepped capslock key we also get a discount on the long control so they end up being $0.80/each.

The J shaped enter keys are $2.39/each.

Food for thought.

Long time lurker's first post:

Really appreciate all the work you are putting into this WhiteRice and I was interested but I was really looking for "boring" Helvetia in the standard keyboard placement (upper left); all black keys. Might be my monitor, but the grey keys have a greenish tinge. The different keys/fonts also give the keyboard a cobbled together look...

I'll take a pass and wait for the Majestouch double shots.

I'm in for a set if it includes the stepped Caps Lock and the J Enter.  Seeing as nobody else seems interested though in the J Enter, I guess it's not fair to include it for everyone else.  But if there's several people who want it, then we could split the cost between us for the 50 pieces (and divide the 50 pieces equally among us).  If there's 5 of us, that's $23.90 extra we'd pay for 10 J Enters.

I went through the thread there are around six people who want J shaped enter and some blanks.

J shaped enter are $2.39 / each

blanks will probably be $0.60 / each

Sorry guys but I don't think there is enough demand to justify the cost for the whole order.

I could ask signature for a smaller run of like 10 sets J-enters w/ two blank caps. The cost will be higher. You would have to pay extra for these set in addition to the base set.

I'd like to be in on this order for 1x set! and I'd like a full set of all the options, please :) Prices are very reasonable.

Think they'll work with a Rosewill RK-9000?

EDIT: To clarify:
KEY COLOR: Black or Dark Grey (As per the OP)
LEGEND COLOR: White or Red (OP configuration is fine)
FONT: Default as per the OP.  Looks sexy like an old typewriter.
TO FIT: Rosewill RK-9000 (which should be identical to a Filco)
OPTIONS DESIRED: WASD Orange (with arrows too, ideally), CTRL, CAPS, Geek Hack
OPTIONS NOT DESIRED: J-Enter, Tiny [ \ | ], Tiny [<-Backspace], Diamond aka Meta, Apple Keys

With that said I'd be happy to have a full set of all the optional keys, and would pay to have them made.  If the only way to get what I want is to get all of what everyone wants, then so be it.

Is there actually anyone who wants Windows logo keys? Cause if everyone can agree on some OS-agnostic icon for those keys, they won't need to be "alternate" keys, we just wouldn't need Windows ones at all. What about the context menu key?

(some ideas for meta keys if you have unicodey fonts)

Honestly, I'd be okay with any of the options.  I'm fine with the little windows flag too.  What I don't want to see is a bloody Apple logo on my keyboard because that will put me in a foul mood.

I do rather like the circular embossing that Microsoft has been pushing on keyboard manufacturers because I find myself much less likely to accidentally press the key if I can feel a difference.  That said, I rarely make errors in that group... finger memory and all.

We do need to agree on a single thing.  If we can't agree on a non-windows symbol, I propose we go with the windows flag just because it is standard and doesn't tend to offend.

Same here, I would not mind paying a reasonable amount extra for the bigger enter key.

Would prefer two blank keys with the bump found on qwerty F and J keys though, because I try and convert my keyboard to colemak layout.

Also I would not mind a windows key.

This is a really good question.  I almost never see the windows / meta / OS key doubleshot.  With that said, is it possible to get it done the same as the rest?

Also, are there any keys which are infeasible to have doubleshot? When I think of a set of doubleshot keys, I think 100% doubleshot.

That said, I'm sure we can all agree on one approach or another.  If certain keys are just a pain, other printing methods are acceptable by me, so long as the overwhelming majority are doubleshot.

Apparently Windows key is included, diamond or anything else would be in addition.  I don't mind paying the extra cost to get a diamond key if there is enough of a demand, but it also doesn't matter very much to me.

104 US ANSI Double shot replacements for Filco Order

Is there any reason we can't treat 50 orders as the minimum?  I mean, if there are 55 interested people, or 55 sets to be sold to any number of people, couldn't we just make the run larger? In theory, that would actually decrease the per-unit cost.

Unless the OP disagrees, I move to say that 50 is the minimum.  So long as at least 50 people want these, we can make it happen.

Oh dear, are they already all sold? I registered just to post here and say I was interested. :(

If it's possible to extend the order, I want the control key to replace caps lock and the diamond keys as well. And a GeekHack key, why not? :)
