Oh boy that’s some kinda purple.

I always wonder, do designers have a go-to keyset in mind when drawing these up?

not exactly but i prefer the classic/simple sets so that's probably what i end up designing for subconciously, lol

Yeah. I'd def take that pale gold and throw on some vint blacks and some old cherry caps I harvested. Def a very traditional layout. Love it.

+1 for the polycarb. If not the first run, then maybe in future runs?

Interested if there's ISO alps support, even if it doesn't come with a plate and you could provide a .dxf for me to modify and I get it made myself. I'd prefer winkeys as I'm a mac user and option keys are necessary.

I'm especially interested if there are strong colour options, I like the purple.

I'll be even more especially interested if you could tie this together with an alps keycap set. I have a DCS Yuri set coming, but I have everything waiting for that already. Wern't you considering running one a while ago?

ISO alps should be on the PCB. Platewise I would likely only offer a WKL ISO layout in FR4 since i'm sure it would be a very low quantity order wise. I do plan on getting the DCS WoB going, I'll be working with a vendor on that this spring/summer!

They're two different materials with different properties and dense-ness. Polycarbonate is kinda soft and flexible while acrylic is more fragile. People mix them up because they only notice that it's a translucent material usually...

It should be, hiney's stuff usually is. Unless he goes with VIA but then again I don't know if he's designing the PCB or if he'll have someone else do it like wilba.

It's in the OP...Uses his own H87a, with a USB C port.  It already has QMK support.

No reason to reinvent the wheel when he's already created 2 different TKL pcb's.

Haha, might just not be in the know, but Hiney is like world renowned for making PCBs for other cases. I guess he could pay someone to make one for his own, but it'd be odd, haha.
