There will be a delay in producing these... I don't think Lightsaver V2 will be next in production after Orion V2. Maybe next year...they have other plans in mind.  Sorry for the bad news.

Viper 2 (Falcon) maybe? The difference is the asymmetrical bottom blockers (like HHKB) as the original one is symmetrical.  I heard it will come with a track point like Lenovo keyboards.  Not too sure where they will source key caps for this since this will need custom caps for the track point.

nice. but i hope the trackpoint won't be 'eating' the G-H-B cluster/area like the other custom kit in massdrop before (forgot the name)...

It's a blessing for me because I definitely need some time to build up, I just spent ~$600 in the past couple weeks(not a single item I've even ordered has come yet lol).

Yeah hopefully we can still get it. But I mean it is only logical to go to a Viper/Eagle V2 of some sort since there is already a LSv2 and Orion V2 is their current project.

I'm unreasonably excited. LSV2 is one of my dream keyboards. I'm planning on putting an OG Desko set w/ GMK modifiers, paired with vintage MX Blacks on the keyboard.

Also, for any that are interested. Sherry @ Originative (yes I know he's extremely unreliable), seems to have LSV1's in stock at his store.

I believe I read somewhere that some people haven't received theirs from sherry. IMO V1 had a cleaner bezel.

Mostly just the number of possible layouts.

The v1 case has a circular port opening, and iirc the sides are flush and the v2 has a slightly recessed bottom section from the bezel. As far as the plate and pcb, v1 plate doesn't support 1.5-1.5-7 layouts because of the stab cutouts. Also, pcb and plate both don't support 1800 layout with short right shift and arrow cluster with 1u numpad 0. Hopefully that made sense.

As we said, they were so sketch they lost their Vendor status on GH.

i've ordered some expensive stuff from them before, during the hype of the "don't buy from them" thing, and I got my order fast and in good shape. they are not quite amazon, but like any other small scale online vendor, be cautious and make sure your payment method has some type of protection.
