I've been wanting to do this for a while now, I just didn't had the time to create one. So this cap is not as polished as I wanted it to be, but I think some of you might like it. It is not as good as other Artisan caps in terms of quality and design, but I'm also pretty sure nobody's gonna refuse to have a cap for free.

Like I said, I wanted to add few more caps to give and so I just finished two new caps, both in MX and Topre. They both look amazing. I'll probably upload the photos of new caps tomorrow. :thumb:
Also, even though I asked you guys not to pm me, there are still some who did and no worries, it's totally fine, but please do not spam me with PMs. Many of you showed interest on the blanks as well. I have no final designs for my blanks yet so it will be a while til I make new ones. Thanks for the interest.
Lastly, the list is growing so if I ever find more time to make two more caps, I will. And by the time I finish the 4th and 5th caps, I'll probably give it few more days til I close the form. By then, I'll pick the winners and notify them here and on their emails. I will use random name picker and we could also do it live on my twitch channel for transparency.

I do have plans for cherry profile too. I still need to get a set for cheap to make one as I had to destroy my Tai-Hao caps for the OEM Gamer set.

Once I perfected them and just like I promised, i'll have some up for giveaway again. I do not have any date yet, but for sure it is coming next month. :thumb: I tried my best to make it as simple as possible and I really hope you guys like it. I took new photos of the Gamer set on my board. I found out that the set is actually a bit taller from the other caps as you can see on the pic. I do not know if I should change or keep it that way. I am typing on it and I do not feel any difference and it's actually nice that it stands out. I know some mainstream board comes with "WASD" sets too and its actually different from the other caps so I guess I'm good with it.
Anyway, I am creating new set with different colorway. I also ordered some yellow pigments to achieve more colors. To the winners I will be sending out the invoice tonight and I also need to get some shipping materials, but for sure it will be shipped within 3-4 days. :)

Many people loved the blue/purple gradient caps that I made before for both MX and Topre so I decided to make same one with the new design. Took some photo with my board too together with some Bros and it is looking hella nice. I am sorry for teasing you. I know some people were talking to me for a long time now regarding these colorway. :D As always, you can check the new photos on the 2nd post. I also have a secret 4 shots colorway for the MX gamer, but that I have to keep as a secret til the right time comes. :thumb:

EDIT: So Adamski's gamer sets came in today. The first thing I notice is the ominous T800 who'd been in his parcel just waiting to be let out. The small details on this guys face are add so much, and the shot of contrast for the eyes brings him into our dimension. There's definitely no getting this mixed up with a reaper, T800 has his own story that may cost you your soul to hear it. His hood shapes his face in a way that it should, and looks very natural. He's a very cool character artisan and makes a wonderful addition to a collection.
The gamer sets. Ohhhh man the gamer sets. This particular set Adamski made to match the Hack'd by Geeks set, and he nails the colors. I'm not an artisan so I have no idea how hard it is to get colors the shade you want them, but he's got the process down from what I've seen in this and his other multi-color gamer sets. I never really understood why a gamer set existed- now I know. The nice grippy but not too grippy texture provides a clear contrast between the keys around WASD- hitting the F key instead of D in Dota happens more than I like to admit. I can see how once my fingers are familiar enough- they won't even hesitate to shift back over to the D just by recognizing they aren't on the right texture. The caps feel like you think they should feel. The matching Function row key is a really nice 'extra' that just adds even more value to an already stellar set.
That desire for perfection that's present in other artisans is definitely in Adamski. Before the set even got here, he warned me about a couple of things he wasn't perfectly happy with on this set that I genuinely would never even notice. It speaks to his standards, even this early on in his cap crafting career he was worried about minute details. I'd have been thrilled just to make a square or an MX stem that "kind of fits". Adamski's going for top tier maker quality and it shows.
Just a reminder, I'm not trying to sell anything here- as Adamski's never sold a set and as far as I know doesn't have plans to in the immediate future, and I'm pretty sure people would be lining up just based on his gorgeous color combos. This is simply a fan giving some gushing impressions. I want to thank Adamski for letting me borrow his caps to take some pictures with on my board. If he ever does sell these things in the future, I'll be standing outside waiting for the door to open.

This is my feedback with blue added. Love it. Red and yellow is an underrated scheme, and difficult to get outside of skull squadron.

haha. thank you guys. just trying out new colors. After the 2nd giveaway, I'll probably start working on my topre caps and maybe a new character that I have in my mind for a while now. Once these ones are done, I'll continue working with different MX profile that some of you requested especially Cherry profiles and SA. :thumb:

Hey guys! I came here to give you all an update regarding my work. I've been really busy for the past couple months. I am sorry for the lack of updates especially for the winners of the last giveaway. School, work, and holidays are all taking my free time. Right now, I am busy working on some requirements for a new job and they've been bugging me for the last couple weeks because they want me to start asap. Yesterday, I had triple vaccinations from my doctor. Nothing to worry here, it's just for immunizations tho both my arms are really sore atm. Well I learned that it's not only the keycap artisans that could do double or triple shots! haha :p
In connection with my work, I have no plans to end it. I just need more time, but I'm afraid that it will take longer than what I initially thought. This is why I didn't charged the previous winners for the shipping fee yet. I also had a conversation with one of the member here who makes keyset designs. He wanted to create a keycap design that will match his keyset and I'll be the one in charge for bringing it to reality. This is not final yet and we are not sure if this will be available for other members too.
I'm hoping you guys would understand my situation. I assure you tho that I will back making caps to giveaway as soon as I can. :thumb: Happy Holidays, everyone! ;D

The process of creating molds for my caps is killing me as I kept on making mistakes. Keycap making is a trial and error learning process. Amazing stuff man, I would be all over this. I know you have mixed feelings about a topre version of your gamer set, but oh man what I would do for a set in topre. That's just my opinion though. Your stuff has been an inspiration for me to start cap making as well, keep up the great work!

I was also inspired by other members to make keycaps and that's what I always wanted to see in these communities. :) We'll see if I could come up with a better design for my Topre caps. If not, I'll stick with the same design. :thumb:

I probably don't need mention again how busy my life is as you probably know that already after mentioning it million times in this thread. :p Anyways, just a small update here. As I've decided before, I went to making Cherry profile keycaps instead and drop the OEM ones. I also showed you guys from the last update the master keycaps that I will be using to create the WASD/ESC/F&J set. Well over the weekend, I was able to make the mold and at the moment, I am casting multiple caps. Once I finish getting a perfect set, I will be making another mold for the final product and hopefully, I could then start making the caps for our previous winners and for our upcoming giveaways.
Please excuse the rough bottom of these caps as I still need to sand them smooth. Here's a comparison of my old OEM caps to the new Cherry profile caps.

I got one similar to that from a sporting goods store that is usually used to store fishing stuff. It was a little more expensive as it was more like $10, but it has dividers you can put in yourself so you can have lots of small spots or some longer ones and some smaller ones. Tomorrow, I'll start working on these prototypes, but I doubt I'll be able to finish all of them. Initially, I planned on making 5 caps in total, the ESC and WASD keys, but as per request, I've decided to add 7 more caps to this ultimate gamer set which consist of two ESCs, QWERF keys, WASD keys, and bumped F&J. It will definitely take much longer to finish this set, but one thing is for sure, winners are in for a treat! :thumb:

I have created couple sets for my self already and some other sets for some 'friends.' Those includes two ESC, WASD, arrow cluster, and 4 fns in cherry profile. As an update for the last giveaway, I finished the two sets already. Dgneo's and Aengus'. These only includes an ESC, WASD and an Fn keycaps though some of the winners will get more than those promised. I didn't have the F&J bumped keycaps as my mold was created for Project Cosmos and they also looked awkward on the board when you have WASD on it. I will be creating Ika's set sometime next week as I will be busy this week plus there will be a meetup on the upcoming weekend. This one is kinda difficult as 4 shots on cherry profile is very challenging plus his requested colorway is very very challenging too.
Here are some photos of those that I made for myself and a friend. Project Cosmos blank colorway will be revealed this upcoming weekend in time for the Northern California meetup. :p

Thanks. Angeus' and dgneo's caps were shipped yesterday. I decided not to charge them shipping since they waited very long for it. Ika's set should be ready in couple days. Im also planning to create couple set that i will put on sale as I need funds for vac chamber and more raw materials to continue making caps and also improved the quality of these blanks. Keep an eye on that :)

I might put the 2-3 sets I am talking about on sale next week either here on r/mm. Might not be FCFS just letting you guys know. They will be priced reasonably as they're not perfect. Getting a vac chamber and redoing the mold should improve the quality of the blanks. :)
