Hey everyone,
Welcome to the interest check for GMK Vaporwave :cool:
This set is inspired by glitchy aesthetics and holographic anime propaganda.
You can follow the development of this keycap set either on this post or over at naturalpack.org (http://naturalpack.org), whichever is easier for you.
Please leave a comment with your thoughts and suggestions for this set.
Newest updates will be towards the top of the post.
About GMK Vaporwave
This set comes dipped in lavender and an indigo purple, topped with neon pink and bright aqua legends. Base set will be an "all-in-one" style, so no need to buy multiple kits.

- Color Update: I pulled the Pantone plastic chips back out today to re-assure myself of the colors. The neon pink is definitely a very present shade, the kind that catches the eye and then burns it if you look for too long. Very bright and saturated. If all goes well with the GMK color matching process, the pink should stand out very nicely on top of the lavender. I'll do my best.

It feels like a nicer laser, or a cross of laser and taro.
I do wonder about the contrast on the alphas though - may not be as clear irl as the renders

Just as a point of note a lot of designers are moving away from pantones due to the better ability of GMK to match RAL and standard ABS colours. Given some of the wild differences some GBs have had from initial render to execution with pantones it may be something to bear in mind

This is the crucial thing for me. 100% in if it has hiragana, otherwise I’ll probably pass.

Definitely keen about the alphas as well. When I first received the color chips, I asked GMK about neons and they gave the okay. I'll be shipping the color chips over to them as we progress. Hopefully they can achieve the level of pop the set needed to stand out on the alpha keys. I'll keep this post updated.

How much do the planned modifiers differ from standard GMK DY and TU2? Based on renders there does not seem to be much difference.

i love this set; i think this colorway will be perfect if u can hit those custom colors the same as the render. can you please add a 40% compatibility? something like the violet tendencies kit with a really broad base would be ideal. keep it up! im definitely in if 40s stuff is added... maybe even for multiple sets lolsame. As a 40 user I have to skip on a lot of colorways. Violet tendencies coverage was really good, unlike some other recent drops who did some weird choices. Adding multiples of same keys and obscurities, but leave out coverage like no 1,75U Backspace (Minivan).

i'd love to see an interesting Enter key novelty if possible. i think a themed enter key really ties a kit together, like in nautilus, chocolatier, grand budapest, etc.

The Roman bust and the moomman are great, a single anime eye or eyes might work better on a cap than a whole face though

- whatever happens keep at least one 1.0u R4 novelty (bottom row ... 64 key and 1800 layouts use 1u bottom row keys)
Add my vote for a windowed/stepped/offset-stem capslock key if it doesn't create price problems.
