Plate layout help
« on: Thu, 23 July 2020, 10:58:16 »
I am doing this layout http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/#/gists/0babfa3b6a401fe1b684954b5426076d

And i am struggling to understand the spacing and stabilizers, Ive tried looking for the dimensions and such but i haven't had much luck. I was wondering if anyone was able to point me in the right direction or even better i could pay someone to make the cad model for me. I have my version of the plate and it is only very roughly made. At the very least it does line up with my cases screw holes right now so that's helpful  ;D

I would really appreciate the help :)

check out http://builder.swillkb.com/

It lets you input your raw KLE and generates a plate with many options. Its a great resource.

I had the same issue at first. I assume you're saying that when you click to download the SVG it just opens it in browser window. What I did was right click the SVG link and "save link as..." This gave me a downloaded usable SVG
