Is this going to have a max order like the Fusion?

there is no max order for this one.. Fusion60 only have max order for the first round, the second round of fusion60 will not.
macro column (s) on the left would be perfect.
I would like to see an added key on the right bottom row to balance out the WKL blocker
Thank you very much for your inputs and suggestion, from what i got so far i made some adjustment to the design.. what do you think?

Any chance for a negative angle instead of a positive one? The reason I usually avoid ergos like this is because they are not really ergonomic - you still are forced to kink your hands upwards and pinch the nerves and tendons in your wrist. A negative angle would make this a much more attractive board, and not a budget Alice.
Another idea would be a split&tent with the ergo style intact, which would be pretty cool and solve the issue ergonomics.
BTW, just realized the bottom right row (N, M, , .) is shifted by one key.But isnt that the default layout for HHKB and other 60% keyboard? If the FN are in the left side of the shift wouldnt that be weird?
That's no go for me... :-[
[EDIT] maybe the layout is wrong? it doesn't seem to agree with the plate in the rendering.

No, the layout is wrong. It should be;
FN - N - M - , - . - shift

Will you add a second 'B' on the right side? A lot of people (me included) use right index for B instead of left. Would be in if you can add that.

I agree with this. Even if I don't use the exta 'B', I think it would be awesome to assign as an extra 'function' key.
Filled out the from! This might be more for the finishing touches for the design but if you decide to put logo or symbol on the right blocker would you consider doing something like a white or black in lay? I noticed this on the Alice render for the minimal GB. Maybe people think it's dumb but I thought it was a really classy final touch.

I really like this one. To echo the above, please fix the N key (and that row). I think it wil be really hard to type with the N being where B usually is. It needs to be to the right of the h, not the left.

I hadn't even noticed that. That would make typing rather odd. It seems to be caused by the fact that the up arrow is on the same row, which pushes the right shift and Fn keys left a bit. Compare to the Dolphin EM7, which has the arrow cluster shifted down one row so that it doesn't interfere.
I'd say it have to be like this (yes bad edit I know, you get the point :P)Show Image(https://imgur.com/lyhGHxz)

I absolutely need this keyboard. I missed out on the Alice. So sick of the MS Ergo 4000 :(
The NM,/ row should be shifted to the right one column.
That's not how it looks on a regular keyboard. For example N should be between H and J.
It's going to force people to type differently or use the shift as /

Is it possible to have options to have a thick Brass plate aswell?
When it's ready for GB will it be sold on KBDFans?
Looking nice! Would definitely be interested in some other plate materials though. KBDfans is doing polycarb for the Polaris so I would hope either a Polycarb or POM plate might be doable.

Personally i think i would probably take a thin (1.5-2mm) Brass/PC Plate than a thick (4.5-5mm) Alu one. I think a lot of people would prefer for a thinner plate with a higher variety of materials than having a thicker plate in just Alu.

Reason i made a thick plate is because the PCB will be a how swap removable switch. A thick plate will allow the PCB to be screwed in and hold firmly to the plate, this will make it easier for the user to install and remove switch.
and yes i understand that some people like a thin normal plate and maybe the want to cut their own plate to make it flex more. that is why I made the thick plate a removable plate.

Looks great, but please consider making the weight less complex (simpler peek-a-boo elements).
To be honest, the translation of the Majapahit logo looks like a 4-point Japanese shuriken and I am not digging it.
A simple etch of the original logo in a similar aged/worn style of the Vitruvian Man on the weight would be classy.
That would also bring the cost down for machining.

To be honest, the translation of the Majapahit logo looks like a 4-point Japanese shuriken and I am not digging it.
A simple etch of the original logo in a similar aged/worn style of the Vitruvian Man on the weight would be classy.
That would also bring the cost down for machining.
ok, what is a simpler peek-a-boo elements? do you have photo or picture for example?

wow did you make that ? i was also planing to do that at the beginning. but it would be expensive, the only thing we could do if we want to make that is make with laser engrave. but unfortunately kbdfans cant do laser engraving..
What do you think of this ? the meaning and essential of the logo didn't change and this would make the price much lower and less complex. please give suggestions and feed back. thank you

I just got confirmation from kbdfans.. they dont do GB anymore.. the methode for this is FCFS..
Please make those color options happen KBDFans!Mouting system is top mount. But with foam to dampen things.. Im not a fan of gasket... well actually i never try one and kinda scared to try.
Also, did you ever discuss what the mounting system would be?
Yeah, so there must be a maximum right?100 case will be made

Group Buy have many uncertainty that could disappoint buyer or GB participant such as color being different from render, shiping time getting delayed and many other stuff that is unpredictable.
We want to may our buyer happy and satisfied when they recive this case. So we think FCFS is best.. we will make a number of case and put it up on sale.
... In addition to that, having a staggered Home/PgDn/PgUp rather than vertically upright alignment could make it look even more organic. Minimal indicator lights on the upper left corner might help increase usability as well...
Is that 100 of each color?

Hi, i liked the board a lot. Just wondering if you will consider having a solderable PCB
Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
Hey, I was wondering what the bottom row layout is (what key sizes - 1.5u, 2u, etc.) and if there will be adjustability in the PCB (I think Alice had a couple layout options). I can't seem to find the key sizes for the bottom row anywhere. Thanks and great work!

As someone who has been patiently waiting for this board to go into GB, this is not great news; I don't really look forward to mashing F5 and filling in forms frantically in the hope of buying something.
FCFS may be better in terms of WYSIWYG, but that's poor justification for something that's still bought bought online, and without any prior experience of the product. I'm sure there will be more people who would be disappointed that they didn't get in on the buy rather than those who didn't get what they were expecting to (GBs always come with that caveat anyway!). And, with FCFS, there is the matter of inflated aftermarket prices that come with limiting supply, and those that buy with the express aim of flipping their purchase rather than using it. In any case, the trend in this community to move to FCFS and limited GB at a time when it's exploding is a bit worrying.
For the Maja (which looks great, btw!) I wish that you would explore the possibility of collaborating with someone other than KBDfans that would be willing to operate on a traditional GB model (even if it's with limited colour options, etc). Alternatively, you could, maybe, get commitments from buyers over a short period (a few minutes or hours, for example), and then have the manufacturing and dispatch happen in multiple batches so everyone who is interested can get hold of a unit, while ensuring KBDfans aren't overwhelmed by the QC and shipping?
Option 1

I just came late in the Maja IC discussion, and found out Maja has been evolving quickly, and I really dig the Maja mojo! ;)
I'd love to see Maja accomodate one more 1U bottom row key (alt/super/fn) on the right side, as it will also balance out the left/right blocker spacing–as seen in the annotated picture. In addition to that, having a staggered Home/PgDn/PgUp rather than vertically upright alignment could make it look even more organic. Minimal indicator lights on the upper left corner might help increase usability as well.
I'd really love to see Maja come to frution.
In for an ISO plate version.Iso enter isn’t possible on this. Enter can’t be done.
I can see where you're aiming at in terms of aesthetics "cleanliness" by keeping the function keys on the right side of the board vertically upright. It can also maintain a balanced look as long as it has vertically aligned light indicators on the left side (num/scrl/caps light).Honestly, you are late to the discussion. We talked on all these points and layout options and Vulcan decided on the popular consensus. I think the current design is great including the logo and layout.
I'd say we need not to worry much about how Maja may "look" similar to other boards, because it's not. It is quite unique from the get go by the fact it seamlessly incorporates the nav keys into the ergo layout.
Having even spacing blocker by adding one more 1U (or 1.25U) on right bottom row adds that venerable WKL elegance to it.
It's quite tempting to add additional function keys or macro keys to the left side, but I'd say that we should restrain from it as it will ruin the whole ergo aesthetics in its simplest form yet also complete. It may also add additional cost to the production.
I hope Maja could be the best ergo board that assimilates best ideas from Alice, WKL, TKL and HHKB, and yet still unique in its own way.
Lastly, for the sake of Majapahit spirit ;D.... please refrain from using the modified Majapahit logo that looks like Shuriken
Having a simple pvd brass octagonal star Majapahit logo on the back is more classy (think Fusion60, Singa, Polaris).
Cheers! :thumb:

I like this change!
Any timeline for when these will become available on KBDFans?
any idea of when those 100 units will be available to purchase?
Is there a sale date?
With only 100 being made this is going to be next to impossible to get and end up being like the Alice and re-sold for $$$$. Any chance to take it somewhere else so it could be a GB or more made?
Maybe I didnt explane this quite well.. but for Maja it is not a limited run keyboard.. after 100 board are sold we will make 100 more and sell it again and repeat.. but between those R1 and R2 there will be time for manufacturing again..so people how got it first will enjoy it first.. and people who didnt get it on the R1 will have to wait 1-3 month until it's finish manufacturing.

Do you guys want to see GMK render on Maja? If yes what keyset?GMK Cafe, Dots, penumbra solarized
It's not going to be a professional render like thesiscamper or janglad, I'm still learning, but I'll try my best!
Honestly, I'd like to see a more basic keycap set to keep the price down.
i dont have the exact time, but it's my prediction is around desember/january

Fantastic news. I'm always happy to see people planning so far ahead, market's super saturated right now and being willing to schedule it much further is great for both yourself as the runner as well as for us, the customers.
Good job!
ETA yet?I was targeting desember, but because the proto production takes longer than what i expected I think the ETA is around February.
Will the PCB support QMK?Yes will support
So i see there will be multiple rounds for this board, will this board stop selling at a certain point or will it just sell as long as it is succesful? i really love the look of it and would love to have one. is there also any word on the estimated pricing? We havent decided yet.. but mostly this will stop selling at certain point
Beautiful board. Any word on pricing for it?Pricing will be updated until the proto is finish and approved..
This board looks absolutely gorgeous! I hope this will be available for a long time. It should be, its a very special and stand out design which could definitely fill a big gap in the market. I wish you the best of luck. I will be keeping my eye open for the product. can we have an option to have the weight a multi color or heat treated for that colorful look? if that makes sense lol
very interested in this!I game on an Alice clone which has a similar layout and I find it perfectly fine.
I have 2 questions though (i'm sorry if it's been discussed before):
- since you already have the prototype, can you post a photo comparing it with any 60/65 board and TKL? Curious about the dimension
- i'm quite new with this layout, will the ergo layout feels weird to game? i do game a bit, casual though
Would imagine WASD needs to get some readjustment time doesnt it? Do you think a normal keyboard would be better if were talking about gaming?very interested in this!I game on an Alice clone which has a similar layout and I find it perfectly fine.

Personally, didn't need readjustment time since it's all relatively in the same place. But I see your point. Your mileage might vary but it shouldn't be a high learning curve for gaming.

Are you satisfied with the prototype?I feel like the gap from case and keycaps is too wide.. what do you think? Other than that it looks great.
Also, what are the colors that will be offered?
Keycap spacing is a bit too wide. Is that standard spacing?Standard...maybe it looks like that because of angle or lighting.. I have to get hands on the proto to judge.. right now it's still in manufacture
It looks a tad bit wide but I think it's better to judge it when you have it in hand. Having some tighter tolerances around the edge would be a nicer touch if that was really case but the varying angles of the photos make it hard to tell if the gap is actually as wide as it seems in some of the photos. i am very interested assuming the bottom row was just the wrong layout. seeing as the plate looks as it would be the right layout? the shift over to the left one column would kill it for me. watching closely
Alice lay-outs never are iso compatible, not a single one.

I beg of you. Please add a Windows Key option. It is a necessity for most of us Mac users.Windows key in the usual posiyion is not possible on the Alice layout. But since the board is most likely going to run qmk you could just remap the windows key to one of the alt keys or to the split spacebar.

Sorry for the quick hack on your beautiful work @communistpieI'm a Mac user you can just reprogram one of the keys to Command. It's perfectly fine as it is.
Did a quick hack to show ~1.25u WK on left side and a ~2u key on the right side. Don't see any reason this couldn't be an option from a tech/physical perspective. Where it becomes an issue is cost of PCB and top case I guess. Personally I'd pay a premium for this feature as losing the WK is not really an option for me (Mac users)Show Image(https://i.imgur.com/nzzkev9.png)

And I have to second the reprogramming the keys. Comes up in every wkl or hhkb thread. So easy to do for all these boards which support qmk, and often times people put it in an even more convenient or comfortable position then it's default.Think it might be less comfortable for wasd games but you could shift one coloum to the right.

About the reprogramming, it still leaves you with less keys and for someone that uses especially the left mods alot it's enough to turn you off a board
Me: I don't want to remap the windows key elsewhere on the keyboardYou: Redesign your vision, and the legacy of Alice, so I don't have to learn something new.
People who don't have the same preferences as me: Just remap the windows key to a different key on the keyboard. Its not a problem for me personally so it definitely will be fine for you because my preferences are the same as everyone else.

A lot of people clearly like the design as is. You could always start an IC for a design that includes it and see how it goes? Clearly there's some interest.

True. Just requires retraining though. I just used to be in the same boat, but after years of alternating between them I guess I've just become an ambi-moder. It's definitely not as rough as when I trained to use an ortholinear, haha.
Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
The issue I have is that the request I made is possible to do with different top case options and would not affect those that prefer WKL. Many keyboards offer this. I'm well aware it is an unlikely request but every time I see people asking for a WK to be added to a layout (reasonable request) loads of people that don't care about WK chime in telling them to remap it. I believe everyone in this scene is well aware of the fact that QMK allows remapping of keys like this but we're making the request despite that because its important to us.
Additionally I didn't make the request because I don't think there's enough interest. Its a preference request and that's all. Not sure why it needs to get shot down by loads of people that aren't the creator ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

See I think you just took it the wrong way. We weren't shooting you down. We were simply just offering a solution. One that we've experienced to work and one we've seen others learn and do OK with in order to enjoy a board they really like otherwise. I'm sorry if this is repeated to you often, I'm sure that must be frustrating. But it's a usual response just cause it's worked for many people. So sorry about that.

It's all good man. It's frustrating for sure, but I get it. The scene is growing quickly and with lots of new people entering there are definitely people that don't know about it. I wrote up a longer response just now and deleted it because I realized we're getting a little far off the path for this thread. :D
Can anyone comment on gaming or typing on an alice-like layout. Those staggered keys just look like they'd be a nightmare. Even for the wasd. Lol, the placement of N-? and FN on that board is dumb :P Lots of typo's incoming.
Any chance the tolerances are changing? Looking at the top down picture the gaps around the caps seem to be fairly large.

On a normal keyboard the B is smack down in the middle. What I mean is that nm.,,? are 1u to the right normally. Kbd just put the caps on incorrect. We all use the extra B spot differently (most people would probably make it an extra B) but keep the bottom right alpha’s where they should be :)
KBDfans put the caps on incorrect.

Really looking forward to this. Layout looks great.
Sorry for newb question but I am wondering, will the keybindings be programmable/customizable and how much options would we have. I use mac at work so it would be great for me to be able to set my command key to one of the alt/shift keys on the bottom row.

The PCB will most likely run on QMK firmware, meaning it will be fully programmable. Basically meaning unlimited "options".
What do I do to get in on this?
If there ever comes a day this is purchaseable. I will do just that. Purchaseable itI too second that notion

Same. Once I get this, Primus 75%, RAMA U80-A, and F77, I'm going to call it quits on keyboards, at least for the foreseeable future. This one is a must-have.

Hello Guys,
Sorry for a loong time without updating, not because i don't want to update but there is just nothing to update, all there time was just waiting, waiting and waiting. today i saw kbdfans website and there's MAJA coming soon and from now i think it's time to intensify communication with kbdfans. I will keep you guys updated every few days.
This is i what i know so far base on my last communication with kbdfans.
1. Color Option : Last time i communicate with kbdfans it's going to be Black, Grey, Rose gold/ silver.
2. Solder PCB : I have already suggested a soldered PCB with layout option, but i guess Kbdfans is more interested on Hot swap RGB. But I really hope there is still a possibility of future change.
3. Middle foam : Last time they say they didn't make it. i don't know if they didn't make it just for the proto or they don't want to make it foe the final product. when i ask they didn't reply back. I will ask again.
4. FCFS :Maja will be sale as a FCFS, not a GB.. Kbdfans stop doing GB because there is too much uncertainty. For The first batch of Maja we will make 100 case. if there is still demand we will make a second batch with different color and i really hope we can do multiple layout and solder version of PCB.
Thats all the update I have so far. I will contact KBDfans tomorrow and keep you guys updated.
Thank you,

Finally some update! FCFS is kinda stressful because you need to get in time unless the amount is high enough. I really hope there will be R2 later though since I don't think I can join in the R1 for now but still very interested in this keyboard.
Some questions/input:
- Hoping for dark blue/navy color for later
- Middle foam would be amazing
- Any final pricing too?
- Any plan to port into VIA?
- What would be the plate options (and color)?

I haven't checked in on this thread for quite a while, but FCFS with a limit of 100 is a big yikes from me after thinking I could just wait for the board to come along as an in-stock item on KBDFans.
What's worse is the way this is worded, "If there is still demand" - Does that mean further rounds after the initial 100 aren't a sure thing?
The original post lacks a bit of information. Is there an overview of which layouts are supported? I see it is a hotswap PCB. Is split backspace an option?
Could you ask them how much time will be between R1 and R2 if they see there are many people asking for it? Is there a possibility of other plate options?
Lets say there will be a solderable pcb for R2, could you make it available for purchase separately for people who do get into R1?

Thanks for the response. Also, on the site I believe the pricing states $300. Also, I would love a polycarb or FR4 plate!Hello Guys,
Sorry for a loong time without updating, not because i don't want to update but there is just nothing to update, all there time was just waiting, waiting and waiting. today i saw kbdfans website and there's MAJA coming soon and from now i think it's time to intensify communication with kbdfans.
1. I'm also hoping in the future we could make more case color, but for now I think the standard color is the only option
2. I know, that's why I put it on the design, I hope Kbdfans didn't take them out.
3. I cant answer this. only kbdfnas knows.
4.maybe in the future
5. for now only brass, but I'm planing to also provide aluminum with many color, we will see.Hello Guys,no dark green and no soldered pcb

Thank you,
too bad. was hoping to see that color.
that's gonna be a pass for me then :(
I'm really sorry elmo :( I also wish we could make more color variety. but for r1 think standard color is the only option. I can only choose 3 color. for solder PCB I also wish we could do that. but Kbdfans wanted hot swap for r1.. but I'm planning to make solder version in the future.4.
What I understand from my conversation with Kbdfans is they will make more when it's out of stock.. but will stop making when they think the demand is getting low.The original post lacks a bit of information. Is there an overview of which layouts are supported? I see it is a hotswap PCB. Is split backspace an option?
for R1 kbdfans wanted to do hotswap so only 1 layout like the render is supported, but personally I really wanted a soldered version of pcb with multiple layout option. I'm planing to make that in the future, I'm willing to spend some of my profit from this project to make that happen.Could you ask them how much time will be between R1 and R2 if they see there are many people asking for it? same as other kbdfans product, around 2-3 month .for plate option I will suggest them to make aluminum version.

Time windowed sales aren’t fair for supply limited products, the only fair method is a lottery. The speculators and flippers are always better at making it into a short time window than everyone else.
Confirmation of the FCFS format is disappointing to say the least, especially for a number as low as 100 (there are more than 600 people on the waiting list now, according to the KBDfans Majapahit product page, suggesting that there is definitely more demand than there will be supply). Couldn't there be some sort of compromise between a full-blown GB and an FCFS sale? Perhaps a 1 minute window for everyone who's interested to make a purchase, and then the orders get fulfilled in batches of whatever size KBDfans feels comfortable fulfilling? I can't help but feel that this is just going to end up playing into the hands of those looking to flip these on mechmarket, especially if KBDfans and/or Vulcan can't confirm beforehand that there will be future runs and at reasonable intervals (and who's to say there won't be repeat buyers from previous rounds there?).
Now, then, what's happening with that Primatech/Void Lisa GB?

Any clue when will the sale start?
Guys I think i didnt explain quite well.. this is not a exclusive limited product, you cant really flip this just like other kbdfans board, first batch kbdfnas will make 100 case with 3 color dan RGB PCB, when first batch sold out they will make second batch with other color and maybe solder pcb version.. they will keep doing this until the demand is low.

I've thought about this a bit more, and it's not really the flipping that is the issue - that's almost a given when trading in things where demand exceeds supply - the margins will vary depending on the difference between supply and demand volumes and the commodity and how well it will hold its value over time among other things, but it will almost always be a seller's market.
What I can't agree with is "this is not a exclusive limited product", as there is no way for everyone who wants one (assuming supply is equal to or greater than demand) to be assured of a purchase if each batch is a FCFS sale. For example, (assuming that for all batches except the last one, supply is less than or equal to demand) those who lack the internet infrastructure, or reflexes or even scripting skills to quickly checkout their carts are at a disadvantage, and they may be unable to make the purchase of the product in a desired color, or at a convenient time, etc. This may then lead to them having to pay a higher rate in the aftermarket, or to arrange a swap if they managed to snag a configuration not to their liking, etc. but that's really down to the individual and whether or not they are patient enough to wait for the next round of sales - but there is no guarantee that they will succeed there either.
I understand that what is being planned will mean that people could just wait for the next sale every time they miss out on the purchase, but, that's difficult to plan for, without knowing whether whatever demand remains will be enough for KBDfans to make another run, and the intervals at which those runs will happen. There is also no way to prevent repeat buyers from previous rounds putting pressure on the supply. And, let's face that we're in a hobby where there's always something new coming along all the time, and there may not be enough interest (not the same as demand) in something to sustain more than a handful of runs - that's a disservice to those who were very keen, but missed out, but also to the designer, especially if it's a unique, well-thought out product like this one.
While I am unaware of exactly why KBDfans no longer wants to run traditional GBs, I can speculate that it's very likely down to QC/packaging/fulfillment/logistics issues - unless it's something very specific to the way KBDfans operates with their suppliers. If it were up to me, I would still push to go about the sale in the compromise manner that I suggested in my previous post - open order forms for one minute for the sale of some reasonably large number of units, say 500, and then fulfill those on a FCFS basis (effectively the order in which they were checked out) in batches of whatever number works for KBDfans; repeat if necessary, working off the number of waiting list sign-ups or order overflows. KBDfans then needs to communicate to the buyers - still using the same schedule they would have had for five runs of 100 boards each - when they can expect to receive their board based on their position in the list of buyers - while a pipe dream, I would love to hear what others think of this format.
Anyway, sorry for the rambling post, but I'm just trying to offer my perspective as a prospective buyer (or not, depending on my FCFS skills and luck) of a very attractive and unique board from a designer who has been very proactive and taken on board (ha!) a lot of feedback from the community during the IC. It just seems that with FCFS (and the lack of some options that many users seem to be keen on), both parties aren't going to be able to see the full potential of those interactions. I'll still look forward to snagging a Majapahit, and wish you good luck with the sale, Vulcan!
Split backspace going to be supported?
It says on discord:
MAJA:The last sample is in production, and 100 sets will be produced in March
but here in geekhack it says:
timeline
- Finish the design in August
- Submit to factory for proto in September
I'm confused on the updates, what is its current status?

Wondering if there are people who use Alice-style keyboards with a Mac? The bottom row looks spread out, how would you type Shift+Option+Cmd+V?I do. I move the modifiers.

100 units for sale at beginning of June, then they will be doing a UNLIMITED group buy.

Couple suggestions:
Split Backspace support
Moving the right 3-key cluster a bit more right to accommodate a forth key below that fits in the space next to the up arrow key
Beautiful board, I will be stalking its progress ;D

Hi, I'm fairly new to MKs. I'm interested in this board and waiting for the launch but one question: how would I select the proper keycap set for this keyboard while paying attention to r1, r2 etc and the weird keycap widths. Any tips how I would go on about this? I mean, usually there's a sheet of each keycap slot size in U´s right?
You can try to estimate how long a keycap is (all alphas are 1U and you can use these to extrapolate) or you can ask in KBDFans discord if you need confirmation on a few of them.

Hello guys,A delayed product is eventually good. A rushed product is bad forever.
I have good news and bad news.
The good news is, The GB starts tomorrow June 25th at 10.00 am EST. Also, I finally have major updates from Kbdfans. I have posted all of the information with photos and video on the main page of this thread. please check them out.
The bad news is, there will be no 100 stocked case FCFS sale, the reason is that all of the 100 cases have problems with the brass weight, so we need to return it and get it fixed.

Does the soldered PCB have split backspace support?
Will there be an option to add extra PCBs to the order? As of right now, I don’t see the ability to do that on the product page. I would like to purchase both a hotswap and non-hotswap PCB with the board.

No E-White it seems. Sad about that, but that Green looks nice and is unique.
Huh, why did the KBD In-Stock and Ready to Buy notification go out when they never were intended to be sold? So group buy starts today then, what's the shipping prognosis for group buy items? What happens to the previously in-stock items?
Can we get confirmation on colors? Particularly interested in green. Is it still Pine Grove (19-5406 TCX)?
Seems weird to me that the PC version is just as expensive as the full ALU body. Is this a normal thing with keyboards that have PC and ALU options for the case?

Yes, scrap rate for PC is much higher than ALU. PC usually costs more.

If you want a solder and hot swap PCB, it is $10 cheaper to order the keyboard with a hot swap PCB and add the solderable. Use ILOVEKBDFANS for $2 off.
So excited to get this keyboard!

Excuse my ignorance, but does the hotswap PCB w/per key RGB light already have the lights in it? I don't need to do anything? Also, how bright will the lights be for the keys, underglow, etc.
I wonder because I was thinking of going with the Polycarb version but only if there are lights to mesmerize my children w/the pretty lights, lol. Never had a PC board so I don't know what to expect. Any input is greatly appreciated.
Also, what keycaps are people planning to put on the green board? I love green have/will have multiple green keycap sets but none of them would go well with the green board -_-
Hello, yes hotswap already has light in it, no need to add anything. the light of the RGB can be seen on the video at the first post of this thread, but the PCB does not support under glow lighting,
for green case I think using GMK camping or GMK wild would be super dope

If you want a solder and hot swap PCB, it is $10 cheaper to order the keyboard with a hot swap PCB and add the solderable. Use ILOVEKBDFANS for $2 off.
So excited to get this keyboard!

Also any word on how long from the end of GB to shipping? the typical 6 month situation?I hope it'll take less than that, waiting for the GB is long enough :(
Considering this is an unlimited group buy that will be open for a few weeks, I'm not expecting these any sooner that a year from now. Unless they ship them out in waves as they finish batches. Also any word on how long from the end of GB to shipping? the typical 6 month situation?I hope it'll take less than that, waiting for the GB is long enough :(
Does anyone know whether the left space bar for hotswap PCB can support split to 2.25U + 1U? E.g. if I were to solder just those two keys would that work on the hotswap PCB?

@Vulcan:Correct
I placed an order for a Maja and am currently planning on which key caps to get. Could you (or anyone who knows) confirm the last row configuration?
I have it as 1.5u, 1.5u, 2.0u + 1.25u (or 2.25u + 1.0u for solder alternative), 2.75u, 1.5u
Is that correct?
Is there info on what sort of aluminum this is?
I didn't see it when reading through this, thank you.
Will there be any updates in the near future?
Looking to get rid of my Hotswap Green spot.
