All these arguments about bots... Bots or not, I have taken Ws and Ls on fcfs boards, most of the time I just shrug it off when I lose because my life wouldn't be any different with or without a board. But this one is special, I'd rather wait if that means a higher chance of getting the board.

That said, I doubt this will be an unlimited GB, so still a chance of taking the L.

I would also happily wait for a board like this. I first got into the hobby looking for a replacement for my Kinesis Freestyle. The tenting made it such a comfortable board. I realize I have no idea how much effort goes into this but would help in any way if I could.

I keep telling myself I’ll put money aside I would have spent on an L and either a) save for aftermarket cost or b) invest the money.

Something tells me ‘b’ is the smart choice

This is so clean, glwic, I'd definitely pick this up as my first alice layout board. That matching wristrest is also a great touch

Stunning.

Sort of wish I was baller enough to have got all the GMK Stealth kits to complement the board's aesthetics.

+1 for GB too over FCFS. FCFS is always a fiesta (even big hypebeast companies can't even do it properly) and leads to rivers of salt.
At least when people cop an L, it's more understandable. FCFS also sucks if you get unlucky with timezones and ruining sleep if there happens to be hitches in the process.

I've just made a quick update to the OP on the status. Basically, development of the Type K will continue.
I will upload photos of the newest prototype in a couple of weeks time when I'm free.

I bought a mic a couple of years ago for the purposes of typing tests but I could never get it to sound like it did in person so I gave up.

I've just uploaded the photos that were on my Instagram post of prototype #3.
I'll be exploring different colours for the wrist-rest o that there is an option that matches with the silver Type K better. At the moment, I'm leaning towards beige.

I'm just hoping this becomes a GB with *plenty* of units available for a stress-free purchase. Seems like the hype surrounding this board is off the charts, and understandably so.

Hi Gok, the silver looks fantastic!

Will it be possible to make the RGB go all the way to the corners and round the sides aswell as being at the front/top? Or are you keeping it just at the front/top in the middle to stay true to the the KITT inspiration?

Will we get a frosted white polycarbonate bottom (or even better, acrylic though I guess that might not be as durable?) to match the silver instead of black? It could also allow better diffusion and the opportunity for underglow similar to this if we solder in our own leds. But again, if you're trying to stay as close to the KITT I can see why you wouldn't.
