Hey everyone! Got a sweet Sleeping Dragon Shift earlier this week and below are my thoughts.
Krytone made it to be compatible with Cherry profile, and the only keyset in that profile I have right now is Triumph Adler with various mod sets. First, I placed it on my B.face X2, then transferred the caps to my Jane to try the artisan on different boards. It sits perfectly with GMK caps; the profile is excellent and does not hit against any of the other caps, nor does it interfere with the cases. There’s a bit of the dragon protruding from the left and bottom sides, but Krytone managed to make it just flush enough so it doesn’t rub with any of the other caps.
It does take some time getting used to as a regular shift. The part that throws me off the most so far is the tail, since that's where my pinkie lands automatically. When I first saw pics of the cap, I thought the head would face the other way (instead of coming up from the bottom), but the head faces
away from you. It makes sense since it needs to be as far away from interference as possible.
Been using it the past couple of nights and already I'm getting used to it. Not sure what material it’s made from, so I don't know how long the cap will last before succumbing to regular wear and tear, but it seems very sturdy. It makes a wonderful
thunk when you press it, though, and it sounds much better compared to GMK caps.
I love it. It's functional and stylish. As I mentioned, however, it does take some getting used to; I sometimes have to remember that I'm going to push a textured cap before I press it, but my pinkie already is getting used to it.
Here it is below on both boards.
I guess the only thing I'd change is that the tail portion on the right be a little lower since that's where I press it, but I suppose everyone presses the left Shift on different areas.
As you can probably see here on my different boards, there is no interference whatsoever with other caps. Krytone mentioned that part of it might look like it’ll hit the case, but that’s just the angle of the photo taken.
PS
Sorry for the crappy photo quality.

The dragon egg is great. At first I thought the shell was opaque and the dragon translucent, but when I put it on my LED Esc it's the opposite! The egg has an excellent glitter effect which takes advantage of the LED, while the baby dragon has a nice under-glow. I think the colorway of both caps match perfectly with CMYW and light caps.
