Title: Official Appleton WI Meetup
Post by: sexzual on Mon, 02 July 2018, 18:31:01
Well it seems like there's at least a few people interested in an appleton wi meetup.  Was planning on holding it at the appleton makerspace (https://appletonmakerspace.org)  Plenty of space and a computer lab as well.  Is there a date and time that would work well for anyone interested?

I'd be interested if it was in the fall.

That's a great idea for location, maybe we can get someone who is familiar with making things out of 3D models show us some stuff? (assuming they have a 3D Printer).

Interested!  I'm down closer to MKE now, but certainly wouldn't mind making it back up to Appleton (lived there for a few years) for a meet.  :)

i do 3d design and have a 3d printer and access to a laser cutter.  the space also has a laser cutter and 3d printers.  was thinking sometime mid / late September?  does that work?

I would love for this to happen before snows on the ground!

I haven't had much experience organizing something like this but would be very interested to help where I can.
