Title: Multiple microswitch mouse

I don't understand why some mice have multiple microswitches for one key.If it was for be able to click more I undersyand but can't you just use one switch and program it to click twice...

hahahaha

it's only 1 switch per key,  the adjacent one is for the two buttons next to left click.  the top one is G8

I have a friend who has a gaming mouse and when he uses it he gets like 14-16 cpa and when he uses a regular mouse he gets 7-9 cps. What's the reason for this?
